Biography

Dr. Gandhi treats adults with cardiovascular disease, with a specialized focus on arrhythmia and other forms of irregular heartbeats over the last 15 years. He is most gratified when patients return to him and report how much better they feel after struggling for years with heart rhythm issues.He evaluates and treats patients with the following health issues: arrhythmias like SVT, VT, atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation, risk of sudden cardiac death, heart failure and fainting (syncope). He also specializes in highly complex ablations as well as watchman device deployment for stroke reduction in patients with atrial fibrillation. He is an expert at placing devices including pacemakers and defibrillators.Dr. Gandhi trained at Ivy League programs, including Cornell University and Brown University. He is the Director of Electrophysiology and Section Chief of Cardiology at Bethesda North Hospital .He is interested in extending the clinical science with research and is the Director of Hatton Research Institute at TriHealth. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society.He prefers to treat his patients with individualized plans rather then standard treatment as he believes that personalized medicine is the best way to treat heart conditions where the goals could be very different for different patients. He also emphasizes lifestyle changes to prevent future cardiac issues.He has been chosen as Cincinnati's Top Doctors for the last 4 years.Dr. Gandhi is married and has two sons.
