Rude, doesn’t greet when entering exam room. Prescribed medication with no knowledge of knowing what I was taking nearly causing over medicating until brought to my attention by the pharmacist that I was already taking that med prescribed by another physician. Called the office to see what was his medical intention have not heard from him to date..very dissatisfied!!!

Personally made an appointment 3 weeks in advance with a referral from a primary care physician. Called the day before to verify time and was told there was "no record" of the appointment. Snippily advised that the next time available was a month later and nothing could be done and by the way every one was getting ready to go home. Too bad but have a nice day.

Rude staff!! They need to take classes and learn how to work with the public. After seeing Dr Ahn for the last 18 years I will be looking else where. I have NEVER dealt with such rudeness and then when you ask to speak to the office manager, oh shes not in today. I have to go only once a year to make sure medications are working correctly and to have a check up . After 18 years I can hardly believe they consider you a consultation and not willing to work with you on on appointment times so that one can go to work to pay for the Consultation appointment. The VERY RUDE staff comes back on the phone and said we are NO longer going to accept you as a patient. Dr Ahn lost a patient of 18 years due to his rude staff!!

Was unaware of my cardiac history and had not read my chart before he came to speak with me. I had to tell him the same information numerous times. Each appointment with him is frustrating because it appears he is not listening. His answers to medical questions tend to be condescending and dismissive. On the plus side, my HMO covers his services and I know enough about my cardiac condition to steer him in the right direction. I think he's a nice enough guy, but I cannot recommend his services to any patient who has a choice of another cardiologist.

I was referred for an echocardiogram, because NIH research on my genetic condition discovered I could have an 80% higher risk for hidden cardiac problems. THIS MD LAUGHED AT ME! Said "your disease just makes you limber, doesn't affect the heart." I had PUBLISHED articles from cardiology medical journals I had to force him to look at...not to mention my primary care MD had made this a STAT appointment after irregular EKG results the day before. His staff finally did the echo...and guess what, my heart IS faulty. He then wanted to prescribe one medicine that is mentioned in the same article as NOT the choice to treat...and would have made my asthma worse. I left...found an alternative MD who improved me via special supplements instead. I would NEVER go back to this MD. This MD laughed at a well-educated patient, the entire research staff at NIH, a concerned primary care MD that KNEW something was wrong....and didn't even read his own profession's prfessional journal!
