I had surgery with Dr. Stecyk and I have had nothing but amazing care and treatment. He answers any questions I have and he gave knowledge about all of my options regarding my surgery. He provided excellent care preparing for my surgery especially since I have a heart condition. My incision looks great and I am very happy with the results so far. He is a pleasure to have as a doctor and I will and have suggested him to others.

Went complaining of fairly regular knee pain and occasional hip pain. Xrayed knee; disregarded hip pain, saying it was due to my having adjusted my gait when I walk due to knee pain. I protested that I hadn't adjusted the way I walk. No matter. He zeroed in on a meniscus repair, assuring me I'd be good as new. When I hobbled in post surgerym still in pain. He administered a painful cortisone shot with no preparation.. When that didn't help, he sent me to the most useless physical therapist in the world (DO NOT GO TO PERSONAL PT IN Marlborough MA!). Finally Xrayed hip and told me that I needed a hip replacement! Lived with serious pain for two more years before I could summon the courage to seek surgery with another orthopedic surgeon. Trust yourself. Ask for Xrays of evrythig that hurts! Don;t rely on arrogant docs who think they have all the answers and just go thru the motions. BTW: Waiting room is a warehouse of patients; always waited an hour or more. Staff good with phone inquiries; cold in person.
