Very disappointed with Basralian. Took 3 months to get an appointment and by the time I saw him the original reason I was going for had cleared itself up. I went to him after a urologist (Dr. Wright from New Jersey Urology who Basralian trained) screwed up my TURP surgery which left me pissing blood for months and a second surgery was needed to stop the bleeding and the surgery didn't work so I was forced to have a foley catheter for half a year with constant UTI's and multiple trips to the ER and all Wright would say is he didn't know why. But that's a hole other story. After going to Basralian I was called for Jury Duty and mailed a medical excuse form because I had frequent and urgent urinating in the mornings which I explained to Basralian. After not hearing back I called his office and his staff said they tried to contact me (that was a lie) to say he wouldn't fill out the medical excuse. When I said I wanted to change to a different Doctor and cancel a procedure Basralian scheduled his staff said I couldn't cancel the procedure or change doctors in that office. Luckily the Judge dismissed me from Jury duty after I explained my situation to her but I still had to go to the court house 2 morning which could have been avoided if Basralian gave a s--- about his patients...it's no surprise he trained Dr. Wright who after making $$$$$ from a botched surgery and than more money to try to fix it with a second surgery than leaving me to research and try to heal myself from all he screwed up...stay away from Dr. Wright and liar Basralian.

Needed surgery to remove a testicular tumor. I was already quite ill but due to his unavailability and scheduling issues, it took 6 weeks to remove it, giving the cancer lots of time to grow. I nearly lost both my kidneys days later. He should have referred me to a peer or recommended that I was admitted, not let it go for so long if he was unavailable. Also rude, but that'd be forgivable if he did the job right.

The staff there was overall pleasant to deal with, they were very nice people. He however was incredibly rude, and unprofessional. Seemed more interested in collecting my co pay rather than helping me.

My family and I experienced much the same as the others. He's incredibly rude and seems to change his story like the weather. I would not recommend him.

This doctor is a joke!! He is arrogant, rude and mean!! Thanks to him I now have to have major surgery because he told me I was crazy and blew me off time and time again when I tried to tell him something wasn't right after he put in a transvaginal mesh sling...now a few years later and with the help of a new urologist who actually took the time to listen and do extensive testing I am having surgery to remove it...thanks for nothing Dr.Basralian! You really are a heartless, rude doctor and I don't care about how many awards you have received because you are horrible!!

Not a very good clinician. I had blood in my urine and he blew it off- "follow up in six months." Turns out I had bladder tumor. I'm not sure what accounts for his arrogance but it's certainly not a surplus of skill.

Stay away from this practice. The staff is unreal....left several messages with Sandy re: possible cancer test results. Took her 13 days to return a phone call. Rosie was just as bad , puts me on hold to send a fax and goes to lunch instead ( while I was on hold ). Got conflicting info from the doctor , left 3 messages asking for a callback , I'm still waiting - going on 3 weeks. Thanks Dr. B...So now I have my test results and have to go to someone else to discuss results. I wasted my time and money. Supposed to be part of Hackensack Hospitals great Urology Dept.....??? I don't think so. . . . Arrogance , rudeness and incompetence all in one place. Can't believe my primary care dr. suggested I go here.
