This doctor treated my husband for trigeminal neuralgia last year. The word “treated” is actually a generous term for what he did. After tapering my husband off his pain meds and not prescribing more for his very real and legitimate pain, he told the insurance company that he could go back to work. This was most certainly not the case. We found another doctor and staff with a better bedside manner and more knowledgeable about my husband’s condition and limitations.

If you have any condition that interferes with your ability to work, you will be condemned. His secretary is so rude, she argued with a family member who was a former patient and had the nerve to follow this elderly women into the hallway still arguing, and she was wrong. My complaint was cognitive impairments and he dismissed them. I found a real practice who are on the cutting edge of neurology, the Neuroscience Team in Towson. A real doctor, Dr. Gabriel Newman, conducted the appropriate tests and found severe cognitive deficits, just as I described and I was justly awarded disability based on facts. I trust him implicitly. However, doctor wolf, its hard to even call him a doctor, turned me off and became condescending because I mentioned it was interfering with my work and when my husband came in with me, after he and I had sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes, he yelled in his office at my husband who does smoke and screamed that he was, allergic to smoke and I could not come back as a patient. Other doctors are also aware that he is unstable. I've heard when I tell my story to other doctors, "that sounds like him." Heed this warning and avoid this physician. He completely missed my legitimate problem,,,,and he has a copy of the Hippocratic Oath on his wall. He forgot to read it....it says to do no harm.
He not only physically harmed me, He hurt my feelings. I bought him opening day tickets which he asked for and accepted and when they stopped, it seems as if he stopped treating me. I still have a thank you card he sent to me. After such, he treated me so mean and I'm quite sure I could have sued him for lack of due diligence to adequately diagnose me when i was very specific regarding my symptoms. Please, avoid this so-called doctor at all costs.

Dr. wolf(and I use the term Dr lightly) is condescending and confrontational. I was upfront about what my symptoms were. However, he was unwilling to to work with me. He refused to treat my symptoms and did not treat me fairly. I received no follow up and when I called him, he never returned my calls. I finally left a message asking if I should go to another dr. and still did not receive a return phone call. Be careful

He has no compassion for patients who are disabled and frowns upon them. His secretary is rude. Complaints about her service will be met harshly. She remains because she's related. This doctor saw me for months and did very little. At each new appointment, he never remembered what he had ordered or previously discussed. He will charge you for a missed appointment but if he's late, not even an apology. Other patients may run over. I arrived for my appt. in a great deal of pain. I was put into a room where I listened to him & his staff laugh & eat lunch for almost 45 minutes past my appt time.He came into the room, still chewing while he had left me waiting in pain. He is very rude/condescending. These sites offer providers info about the poster. After I posted a comment about the service, he was very unkind to me and I was forced to switch providers.Avoid this dr & his unstable personality. He could care less about your feelings or how he is perceived. He has really lost his way

Punctual and polite, easily the most pleasant and helpful physician I've encountered in decades. He spent 30 minutes discussing my issue, 20 minutes examining me, then 20 minutes assessing my situation and offering potential outcomes. This is the most careful and deliberate physician I've met. He returned a daytime follow-up call that evening and helped me figure out how to pursue my general practitioner's recommendations.

I first received a questionnaire to complete which was poorly designed, redundant and invasive, asking for my SSN in two places, which is not only unnecessary but unethical. I was asked for my copay in cash or check. I didn't have either & offered to send a chk when I got home. Secretary said she'd ask Dr, who then came out & reiterated the same info. He told me to go to an ATM in the lobby to get cash. I asked him why he wouldn't take a check and he said "I've been stiffed by people in the past." When I challenged on this, he said I would have to leave or he'd call security, so I left. He was very rude and unprofessional. I would never trust my health to anyone with this archaic level of mentality. And I can't believe in this day and age, someone would run a medical practice as though it were a corner grocery store in a bad part of town. STAY AWAY!!!

I've been very proactive in learning about my own medical condition. I'm disabled, this doctor does not listen. He does not seem to know anything about the disease I have. I have to pay for myself, can't really work and he makes me feel bad, that his time is worth more in dollars. His goals is money and he seems to have no interest in keeping up to date on research. He is unable to think outside of the box. Only reads neurology mags and listens to "popular names neuros" instead of taking a serious interest a patient's welfare. This doctor is not interested in helping people, but IS interested only in the money he can get. He is not even the least bit curious on new discoveries. Definitely not a critical thinker and he is very small minded.

Dr. Wolf was NEVER on time for any of my appts. His secretary suggested I call before coming for appts. to see how far he was running behind. He always seemed to be having interpersonal relationship problems with patients and colleagues. How do I know? He discussed and complained about them to me and with his staff in my presence. Most inappropriate behavior! He changed his mind about my diagnosis every time I went. During one visit, I told him that the toes on one foot had been "asleep" for a week. He told me to make an appt. and come back in 3 weeks. Needless to say,I fled for my life and got a REAL neurologist.

I went for a hour appointment and was told that I had to have blood work sent and would need to come back for another appointment to go over this blood work. I called back and asked if it was possible if Dr. Wolf could just look at my blood work and then call me if he saw something odd (as my other doctor had already said it was normal) because I couldn't take the time off from work. His secretary laughed at me on the phone, and kept trying to interrupt me when I was explaining myself. Then Dr. Wolf got on the phone and was totally arrogant and weird. He had no recollection of the blood work he ask me about, and when I told him his secretary was rather rude, he told me I was a lier and then when I tried to explain why I thought she was rude, he put me on hold so as not to listen to what I had to say. I immediately made sure that my appointment was cancelled and have never been treated so poorly by "professionals" in my life. I think all he wants is the money from my insurance.
