I would give him 5 NEGATIVE stars. He botched my implant by choosing a post that was too big for my jawbone. As a result, my jaw bone thinned and Dr. Pitts removed the post to prevent it from breaking through to my sinus cavity. He would not refund my $3500 that I had paid him in advance. Now I am out of money and have a gap in my upper jaw. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!

He is very personable and will make you feel comfortable prior to surgery. Im scared of any dental work but when he did my tooth extraction , i felt very safe and pleased w his care provided . I highly recommend him.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Pitts last Friday (02.26.16) morning. I'm 36 years old and have dreaded this procedure since high school, the foggy cloud of DRY SOCKET looming overhead has always terrified me. I fit the demographic for dry socket perfectly, older female on oral contraceptives AND I smoke...not during healing though but certainly before. Maybe I dodged the bullet but everything has been wonderful afterwards, on day 4 post surgery I have no pain at all.

Dr. Pitts and his staff are very knowledgeable in regards to special cases and comorbidities. I have central sleep apnea (CSA) and require a bit lighter sedation which he took into account perfectly. CSA causes your brain to stop sending "time to breath!" signals to your lungs while you are sleeping - or under sedation. I must use a bi-pap machine while sleeping or risk drastically low O2 blood saturation levels. So I was a bit nervous trusting that my O2 and breathing would be properly monitored while under sedation. Everything was perfect and I couldn't be any happier with the results.
