I had two visits with Dr. Eippert before PRK laser surgery. On my first, I met him at his Mentor office, it was overly crowded and people were frustrated with the staff because of long waits in line to check-in & also to wait for the Doctor (I waited over 45 minutes). On my second visit I met with his staff at the LASIK Vision Center in Independence 2 days before my PRK surgery. I walked right in, no wait! The staff was fabulous at this location! His patient consultant, Tina, spent over 45 minutes answering all of my questions and making me feel at ease about the procedure. Tina Porosky & Andrea Earley spent so much time helping me, their level of professionalism was above and beyond what I had expected. I went in on surgery day feeling good, also a bit afraid, everyone at the office helped calm and relax me. I was in the surgery room for PRK probably all of 10 minutes total. When I got up, I could see the clock in the room & my husband (I was legally blind previously, contacts all my life). The first 2 days post surgery were not incredibly fun, I am not going to lie, but by Sunday morning I ran a 5K! I had surgery in Sept. 2014, at my two week follow up I went from being -8.50 in both eyes to being -.50! My eye Doctor said this would improve within the next 2 week with the help of eye drops. All--in-all I would definitely recommend Lasik and/or PRK with Dr. Eippert, he has over 17 years experience, he writes a column for the News Herald and was recommended by my Optometrist as being the BEST not only in North East Ohio but in the country!

I had no problem with Dr. Eippert, but was very disappointed in his staff. I called ahead to price punctal plugs and was surprised to receive a bill in which they were over twice the quoted amount. Also, the office visit was 149.00, which I consider rather excessive. Thank goodness insurance picked up some of my unexpectedly high 429.00 bill.
