Biography

Samantha Dewundara, M.D. attended the International Academy in Bloomfield, Michigan and graduated with an International Baccalaureate Degree with Honors. She went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, also with Honors, from the University of Chicago in Illinois. Dr. Dewundara received her Medical Degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and completed an internship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. She proceeded to complete her ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Dewundara finished her Glaucoma Fellowship with Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts Ear and Eye Infirmary.
