Dr. Hannigan herself is ann amazing doctor, she takes her time with every patient, she doesn't rush. I was pregnant with my first child and i had so many questions for her and she knew every answer which is what a doctor is supposed to do. a couple of times i didn't go back until 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time but i didn't care because she does take her time with every single one of her patients which is what i think makes her the best doctor there. when i was first going to my appointments there was the usual front desk lady, and she was great. but after a while there was a new and younger girl who did not have a friendly greeting face. she was ok but i did not really like her. overall you are just going for the doctor not the front desk lady. all of the nurses were nice as well, had no problems with them

We were excited to get my daughter established as a new patient with Dr. Hannigan after careful considering others. Made our appt 6 weeks in advance. We went to the Medical Plaza Women's practice then realized we were wrong place they kindly showed us the way to Medical Arts women's practice. We walked in 20 min late signed in the only new patient for the day. A patient was called back who had and appt 45 minutes earlier. The receptionist said so I am going to need to see if Dr Hannigan will see you since you are late! We explained we went to wrong practice wrong building ....she said you should have called. We sat down for 10 minutes and then went back to receptionist to ask for the papers to fill out....she said Oh I still haven't asked the Dr. If she will see you. SERIOUSLY. The unfriendly impersonable front office girl leaves we sit back down. 10 more minutes she says sorry you will need to reschedule the Dr cannot fit you in!!!! Honestly it was the most unbelievable and rude experience. My daughter explained would be leaving for college this weekend. Receptionist...oh sorry.
My thoughts were if were on time 20 minutes earlier clearly the sign in sheet showed that they were taking patients 40 minutes past their actual appointment time that was clearly logged. Dr. Hannigan should know she can be the most amazing Doctor and sure we would have loved her but front office assistants were unfriendly down right rude and likewise our time is valuable too. The receptionist said when we were lost we should have called that we were late. Really?? Did you try to call the people who were being seen 40 minutes later? It was an awful experience and we will gladly continue to drive to Louisville for friendly professional staff.

A fabulous Obstetrician & Gynecologist. She has a child so she knows what it's like to go through pregnancy & labor! Takes time to really listen & has a very caring attitude. An R.N.in the Labor & Delivery unit at the hospital, who is a friend of mine, told me she is as knowledgeable as they come & has excellent judgement in emergency situations & all the nurses love working with her. I highly recommend her!
