I had a torn UCL on my thumb. Two months later he performed the surgery. I read the longer you wait for the procedure the more opportunity for arthritis and other problems. I was told how much time passed did not matter and everything would be fine by his side kick Avery.. After the surgery when the cast finally came off my thumb had very little movement and all my other fingers stayed curved for a long time. My shoulder also became frozen for 7 months. I was doing physical therapy immediately after getting the cast off. I thought I would never play sports or go fishing again. When I went to see Kuang kuo he seemed angry at me. He forced my thumb in a range of motion it was not ready for. He acted like the problem was in my head. My physical therapist said that he was aware of this doctors lack of knowledge with post operation problems and he was not alone.
Years later... my thumb has a third of its range of motion.
My index finger is curved and has limited movement.
None of my fingers can be bent back from the joint where it meets the hand. No pushups or pushing with this hand.
I have Dupuytren's contracture in the palm of my hand.
My shoulder is now unfrozen but the right side of my body is noticeably weaker. The whole arm, shoulder and hand is weaker and arthritic, I have not played golf since this surgery.
Kuang kuo only performs flawless surgeries, so this must all be in my head.
I wouldn’t let him cut my fingernails!
