Dr. Albritton has been my doctor for some years now, and I've had a good experience. He's very professional, and caring, he takes time to answer and explains all issues and concerns. The staff is very pleasant, and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Albritton.

July 14, 2015 I visited Dr. John Albritton MD, Winter Park, FL at Women's Center for Total Health because I was pregnant and looking for an OB. I advised billing that I have an HRA which is on my insurance card they scanned into their system. They advised me that they do not trust patients word on HRA because some patients doctor hop, eventually eating the HRA before their claim is approved. After accusing my husband and I to our face of fraud, I asked them to call my insurance to confirm any pending claims and HRA balance. They refused and said we will charge you today and then you submit the receipt to your insurance for reimbursement. The reimbursement was denied because they billed me for a co-pay which I do not have and indicated that I was self-pay.

My husband went to the office July 20th to try and correct the matter and they said they can not do anything until August 15th when they get the payment from our insurance. Even though at this point I know they have access to my insurance information and they can see their claim will be approved and will get an over payment to be refunded back to us. After all the run around I submitted a medical release to transfer care. At this point, the office manager called to know why we were leaving and had no idea there was even an issue. When I advised her the situation she took ownership acknowledging I never should have been charged in the beginning, that she can see all my insurance information, apologising for the way it had been handled and that she would get the refund out to me.

As of today August 25th I still have not gotten my refund. After speaking again with the office manager, she is now saying there was a billing mistake and my insurance also over paid them so now they have my initial over payment and the over payment from my insurance but I still can not get a refund check.

It is likely they have done this before and have gotten away with it. I believe if it was not for my persistence, I and my insurance would never have known we paid them too much money and they would have kept all over payments. I would recommend check all prior claims explanation of benefits (EOB) and verifying this office does not owe you money.

He was the best ob/gyn who delivered my son! Now, he does not accept my specific medicaid I got changed to, but I wish he could deliver my baby girl! He also is very professional even though he seems sort of quiet, that's just his personality. He is a very good dr and I would recommend him to any woman!

I was a first time patient & can honestly tell anyone it was the worst experience I've encountered. He diagnosed me with things he later realized I may not have. After waiting patiently for my results, I called (over a month) to actually speak with the Dr for him to tell me my chart seemed to have been under piles of papers on his desk. One month he left me without a clue as to what to do for the rest of my life. He never calls to follow up with anyone I see. Horrible experience & I will never return.

I was a patient of Dr. Albrittons until I was diagnosed with PCOS by him. He asked me if I knew what PCOS was and that was that...he then sent me for tests and never once followed up with me. When I called to get my results they said everything was normal and said I didnt need an appt. He knew I was TTC and I needed more direction with what the next step for me and my husband should be. After not being cared about I would call for an appt and would just get the voice recording all the time. Also, the staff members there were not the friendliest and seemed to hate their jobs. Not a good environment for someone TTC.

I just love him. I have been a patient of his for about 10 years now and just had my first son. He was so good to me and my husband during the pregnancy and delivery. He is so caring and understanding and his staff is just the same. I wish he could be my doctor for everything. I will be going to him for as long as he stays in practice!

Dr. Albritton was good. I thought his bedside manner was professional but could come accross as cold. He delivered my first baby (out of 3) and compared to my other OB, he was aloof. He made decisions that looking back, I wouldn't chose now. He didn't explain his decisions with me, and then, being my first baby, I didn't think to question him on. Other than that, he was professional, kind and seems like a great guy. I just didn't go back to him for my next two children.
