My husband and I came to Shady Grove after several unsuccessful attempts to try on our own , having children from previous relationships, a vasectomy reversal and thyroid related issues. We were diagnosed with unexplained fertility when we went to Shady Grove and Dr. Roth worked with us in developing a plan. We went through 2 IUIs with no success, began to feel hopeless again and took a break for a few months. Dr. Roth and our nurse Amy encouraged us throughout the process, despite the emotional roller coaster we were experiencing with infertility. Dr. Roth is very knowledgeable about the process and was upfront with us but also very empathetic about our concerns. We never felt pressured and were engaged throughout the process. We decided to pursue a 3rd iui not bc we felt hopeful , but bc we trusted Dr. Roth and her expertise and are so thankful we did bc we conceived our son. We will always be thankful for Dr. Roth, our nurse Amy and Shady Grove for our experience and our son. It’s evident that the staff there truly care about the patients and success.
