Factory processing mind-set. Addresses one (old and managed) issue and ignoring any and all new issues. Does not listen. Patients are given 15 minutes maximum with Doctor, he is always late seeing me, yet I have never had more than 8 minutes face time and generally more along the lines of 5. I feel as if I have to "spill the beans" as rapidly as I can as his hand is usually on the door heading out.Have gone in to see him, in obvious distress (but NOT what the visit was for) and he never even menationed or noticed. His answer is to prescribe a pill or cite probable depression for all ills. Aging is a process whereby one gets more "aches and pains" and gradual wearing out. Pain is a natural course of this aging, but...that does not mean that one must "ignore" this natural pain or off-handedly attribute real pain as "depression". Not sure if it is because he is driven by the corporation he works for to process assembly line style or because he has no interest in geriatrics.
