Was told that my eyeglass prescription could be converted to a contact lens prescrition by the staff. Only their eyeglass center in the lobby of the building can obtain the additional necessary information to do this. Now I have to pay for an optometrist. Very unethical for charge extra for this information and not provide it. Staff also told me that the insurance companies regulate the information they are allowed to provide, even though I don't have vision insurance. Patients have a legal right to all their medical information.

Extremely pleased with cataract surgery outcome. After having LASIK years ago, the vision after cataract surgery can be less than optimal but Dr. Hamilton carefully completed mine with amazing results. Terrific doctor who has been helping my family with otherissues for many years and has always been the best.

Drive thru Atlanta traffic from Conyers, Ga. Every year for checkup after cataract surgery. Excellent result from this surgery. Vision without glasses is 20/15. Could not be more pleased, it has been 3yrs since one eye had surgery and the second eye 1 year in June. And still excellent vision after cataract lens seated in eye. Also , watching problem with cornea in left eye being monitored . Very happy with treatment and very happy I choose Dr. Hamilton. I also visit the Audioligist at Eye consultations who is monitoring hearing . After 3 years hearing does not need corrections. I like the fact that if a procedure is not needed, IT IS NOT DONE!!!!

I drive about 95 miles round trip through Atlanta traffic to see Dr. Hamilton, and consider it to be time well spent. I have worn glasses since I was nine, and bifocals for about 25 years. Until yesterday I have never had a drivers license that did not have an eyeglass restriction. I had cataract surgery on the left eye on April 14 and the right eye on May 5. Next day post surgery visits on both eyes showed vision to be near 20/20. Thirteen days post surgery visit for the left eye showed vision in that eye to be 20/15. When I have gone for post surgery visits I have arrived around 30 minutes early, because I never know what the Atlanta traffic is going to be. I have found that I have been back in the car by the time of my actual appointment. Wait time for me in the waiting room has been on the order of 5-10 minutes, meaning that I have been called back 15-20 minutes before my actual appointment time, with Dr. Hamilton himself coming to the door to call me back on one of the visits. So if I could I would give him 100 stars for punctuality. Will it always work this way? Possibly not, after all he is subject to being called away at any time for emergency surgery. Dr. Hamilton has demonstrated to me that he is a caring physician, and that he runs a good practice. Twice during my first post operative visit he asked me "do you have any questions for me?" Dr. Hamilton is one of the most talented doctors I have ever known. I have worn glasses/contacts for 50 years, and recently had surgery that corrected my vision so I no longer need either. I was referred to Dr. Hamilton by my former Ophthalmologist when I developed a problem.
Dr Hamilton and his staff are knowledgeable, caring and friendly. I think he is easily one of the very best Ophthalmologists in Atlanta.

I had PRK surgery in August and have had several follow up visits with Eye Consultants of Atlanta, and I have been extremely satisfied with my results and experience with Dr. Hamilton and his staff. They have been extremely friendly and helpful throughout my visits and recovery. Dr. Hamilton is extremely knowledgeable and has answered any questions or concerns I have brought to him.

I've worn contacts for over 49 years, but they no longer corrected my vision. My sight was getting so bad, I was scared to drive. The doctor I had been going to for 20 years said I had a cataract, but said it was too early operate. I had to do something, so I started looking at reviews on-line. After seeing all the wonderful reviews for Dr. Hamilton, I decided to make an appointment. When he told me he could correct my poor vision with cataract surgery, I was ready. Dr. Hamilton took the time to make sure he knew the right power lens that would give me the best sight possible. After I woke up from the surgery, I could see perfectly!! Dr. Hamilton is professional, but personable at the same time. He really cares about your eyes. I live 125 miles away, but he is worth the trip to Atlanta. I won't ever go anywhere else!!

I have visited ophthalmologists for over 30 years and am so happy to have found Dr. Hamilton. His staff is impressive, knowledgable, pleasant, and respectful of the patient's time. My surgery was very successful and I had a clear understanding of the procedure and the recovery. My previous doctor had told me I had a 50/50 chance of a successful cataract surgery and basically made me feel like he didn't want to deal with it. I spent a year doing nothing until I found the reviews about Dr. Hamilton. They are accurate. He is the best at what he does. Additionally, the surgery center he uses is less expensive than a hospital OR. And today I realize that all my life I have been spelling ophthalmologist wrong.

My experience with Dr. Hamilton and his staff was amazing. They were patient, attentive and went above and beyond the call of duty to help me through the process. I could barely see when I went to Dr. Hamilton, but now my vision is great. I highly recommend Dr. Hamilton, if you're looking for a good ophthalmologist. My daughter came to this same site to look at the ratings of doctors in my area and she advised me to try Dr. Hamilton because he had so many good ratings. Well, I tried him and I'm so glad I did. I have worn glasses since I was 13. Now, the only glasses I wear are sunglasses! I could not be more pleased with the surgery. I heard they were the best, now I KNOW they are the best!! Thank you Dr. Hamilton!
