Dr. Tinkler is an excellent surgeon. He is very straight forward which is a quality I like. It let's me know exactly what I need to do to better myself. I would recommend him to anyone who can choose their surgeon! He has a great team on the orthopedic floor at Good Shepherd Medical Center Longview they all do very well and try to give you tue best care possible.

Found Dr.Tinkler to be very rude and arrogant. Have never been so disgusted with any Dr. as I was with him; he acted insulted that I asked questions concerning treatment and procedure. I ended up changing Dr. Was no way I could talk with him or have any confidence.

I was referred to Doctor Tinkler by my doctor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler when I injured my right leg during exercise. I was in a lot of pain and could hardly put any weight on my right foot let alone go up and down the stair in my town home. However, after several appointment with Dr. Tinkler, I can now function quite well. I just want to mention that Dr. Tinkler sees patients at several locations in the East Texas area. I see him at his office in the Longview Orthopaedic Clinic Association in Longview, Texas so I don't have to travel all the way to Tyler. And a plus is that I am able to have lunch at my favorite Cajun Restaurant in East Texas while I am in town!
