Understanding that this is a surgeon. He Discharged a patient yesterday on tramadol who had had a pain crisis the day prior & was only able to be helped by IV dilaudid...the patient had been on Percocets for the last 12 hrs and was building into another pain crisis when being discharged, he knew she had had no sleep all night and had gotten no rest and he did not care. Sent the patient home with only tramadol. Irresponsible and ineffective

Had dr Dooley for my wrist surgery and he was excellent. Everything happened quickly barely a scar and even made sure to align my wrist tattoo 😁

Completely apathetic doctor. Has no interest in helping the patient. Has plenty of time to chat with other patients about the local ski hill, but has "no time" to fill out a RedCross form so that the patient can receive necessary equipment for home care. The form needs my name, a checkbox next to the item, and his signature. He spent more time explaining that he "doesn't do paperwork" than it would have taken him to fill this out. I'd never recommend Dr. Dooley to anyone.

I have a serious genetic bone disease and was referred to look into knee replacement... he was extremely condescending and didn’t grasp the serious of my situation... I wouldn’t let this doctor anywhere near me wether it’s reading my X-ray or giving his uneducated opinion. I have been lifting with this disease my entire life and the one hour he received I his education makes him no where near qualified to render any opinion... his name will be forwarded to the OIF to ensure no other person is referred to him

I would like to know WHY I still have constant pain in me knee after having a knee replacement by Dr. Dooley ? The last time I saw him he said that the X-Rays looked fine, BUT is there nerve damage or maybe there is something else wrong ? ? ? I just want to be out of pain. I am now walking with a cane again because the pain is SOOO bad in the calf of my leg ! ! !

Fractured my fibula leg bone, went to Vernon Emergency. Had excellent treatment from hospital staff, and particularly Dr Dooley who inserted a plate and five screws to repair the fracture during an evening emergency surgical operation. The procedure went perfectly and has healed according to the plan.
Four weeks later I am now walking with a boot on, assisted by a knee-wheeler scooter. Overall an excellent experience. I can highly recommend Dr Dooley and the entire patient care team. Thank you!

896 days ago Dr Dooley replaced my left knee. I have not had a pain free moment since that experience. He shows me the X rays and says, see its all good, but it ain't all good. I have been sent for more X rays and he says the same thing. Now, after much depression and a truckload of pain killers he wants me to go for a second opinion. He never examines my knee or looks at other possible damage that may have happened during surgery. He just says that I'm part of the 15/18% that may have low success. At the time of my knee replacement I had a choice of which knee to replace first. Now my right knee and my new left knee are painful all the time. No faith in this Dr.

Very disappointed with the follow up after my collarbone surgery. Basically left with little to no information. Drove 2 hrs on week 6 after surgery, from Revelstoke to Vernon, to basically being told to come back in 2 weeks, no x-rays, didn't even look at the scar. Why make me take an appointement then? Talk with him for about 45 seconds. I had so many questions for him, but I could tell he didn't care at all. I'm an electrician, my shoulders are my livelihood. I asked him about physio and his answer was " Do you really think you need it?" What kind of doctor is that ? Honestly the worst Doctor I've ever encountered. Maybe a good surgeon but a shady doctor.

I seriously was petrified going into my hip surgery, but I couldn’t have asked for better results and recovery. I’m beyond impressed with this Dr. He’s professional, courteous and easy to talk to. Thank you for giving me my life back. He’s amazing.
