Dr. Gupta changed my life. A car accident 15 yrs ago herniated 2 disks in my neck (C3 & C4). I've spent a lot of time at several qualified Orthopedist's offices, PT, Acupuncture/massage, Chiropractors. MRI's/x-rays, etc. My pain never went away, I hadn't slept more than an hour straight in years. I had several repeated Epideryl's to what I now know was very mild relief. I also have been prescribed my share of pain relievers, etc. When I was referred to Dr. Gupta in Dec 2013 by my Orthopedist, I thought here we go again! Dr. Gupta explained his philosophy of Pain Management, I immediately liked him because his outlook on pain is refreshing. I was taken a back when he did NOT recommend an Epideryl but a Pain Block followed by Elecro Frequency. Since I was under the authority of my referring doctor, I told Dr. Gupta I wanted the recommended Epideryl. Because Dr. Gupta's philosophy is the Patient is equally involved in the Treatment Plan as the Doctor. We did it, I got only 10% relief and he explained why it did not work. I didn't know there was anything beyond Epideryls and Cortisone shots but the Pain Block worked! For a couple of months, RELIEF! I hadn't felt so good in years. When the pain creeped back, Dr. Gupta said I was a candidate for Elecro Freq. After several outpatient procedures, I've had over 50% relief (probably way more than 50% but as a person living with pain, I'm always nervous saying it out loud). Not only does he make a solid pain treatment plan, he and his staff work almost exclusively with the Surgery Center so everything is done in a organized manner, files transfer, etc. When my husband was giving me grief about our deductable, Dr. Gupta said no patient should be in pain because of insurance issues and my husband worked with the Surgery Center so I was seen immediately. I also love Dr. Gupta because when prescribing pain meds, you agree to urine samples. I like being treated without feeling like I'm only after meds. There's a respect between Patient and Doctor in the greater goal of Pain Management. It is now Sept 2014. I sleep so much better, my neck moves! I am more active and not as fatigued. When I'm uncomfortable or have headaches, Dr. Gupta helps me and I never leave without a "next step" if the pain doesn't subside. I was feeling so good I told the Dr I took my son boogie boarding and dove off a diving board. He looked at me and said "you are not cured" so please don't do those things no matter how good you feel, it's about moderation". It is a true partnership with working with Dr. Gupta.

Dr.Gupta is wonderful. I'm very young and have been to several doctors. No one could tell me what was wrong. On my first visit doctor Gupta was able to find out what was wrong. Scheduled me for surgery as soon as I could. Not when he could, which no doctor has ever done. I thank Dr. Gupta for changing my life. I no longer feel 30 years ahead of my time. I tell everyone who I know that has issues like mine to go see him.

Dr Gupta has helped me in many was, I was very hesitant to go back to a pain management Doctor because I thought they were all pill pushers! I exsplained to Dr Gupta about this and he listen to me though ally and has me on low dosages and if I feel I'm getting out of control he tells me do not hesitate to call him!! He is a very good listener n knows I know my body but is still the Doctor! He has tried several different things on me that have worked like nerve block, and injections. We have a very good dialogue with myself the Doctor and the staff! I wouldn't go to anyone else at this point! I'm very Happy!!

I have seen Dr. Gupta for about 2 years now. Dr. Gupta, is one of the few doctors that takes his time and really listens to you. He finds where you are having pain and gives you relief by other means then pills. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes in his office. Dr. Gupta always has a smile on his face. He also took care of my pain medications when I was in the hospital. I would recommend him to my family and friends. He is an excellent doctor.

I began seeing Dr. Gupta after the birth of my last child. I had previously seen a different pain management doctor in the area that I had been referred to. Dr . Gupta was so different and so compassionate. I felt like I was actually being seen and not just given a prescription and sent on my way. He has always taken the time to listen to symptoms and takes the time to find the right approach. He doesn't make promises of cures, instead explains different treatment options and what the outcomes are for said treatments. He is honest, caring, and compassionate. I highly recommend him to anyone with pain issues. He truly seeks the source of the pain, not just how to mask it.

Dr. Gupta was called to consult on my husband's pain. He came to the hospital at 6:00 after seeing his regular patients, looked at my husband's file, said to the nurse on duty, " I don't take their insurance." He took the time to call his office to ask why they didn't ask what insurance we had, then left the hospital. He knew that my husband had been in severe pain for that entire day. He came to the hospital, was less than 20 feet from my husband's room. We deserved, at the least, for him to explain why he could not provide care for my husband. He could have referred us to another doctor, offered alternate payment arrangements ( after further investigation, turns out he does take our insurance.) His lack of compassion and moral/ethical compass caused my husband to be in prolonged pain. Anyone seeking this doctors services should not experience the lack of professionalism we did.We have filed grievance's against this doctor with the hospital and other governing agencies as appropriate.

Dr. Gupta is awesome! We went through so many doctors that simply didn't understand the cause of the pain. It was unbearable until we found Dr. Gupta. He evaluated the situation, isolated the issues and is treating each issue individually. He has made an enormous difference, improving the quality of life for our entire family!
