I’m not one to normally write a review but these guys truly deserve one. I’ve been dealing with Dr. Shojaei for over 10 years and you will not find a more comfortable and trustworthy Dr to deal with. Did a great job with my teeth and and both my kids are now seeing him. His staff is knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Don’t waste your time anywhere else and make them your only stop. You WON’T find a better place to go for orthodontics.

Dr. Shojaei did such a beautiful job straightening my teeth and his office is so positive and professional that when my kids needed orthodontics, there was no one else I would trust.

Dr. Shojaei & his team are fantastic & professional. 3 of my family members have had an excellent experience & now have beautiful smiles. He is a perfectionist & was precise in his pre orthodontic assessment of my kids teeth . We are very happy with the results & his staff are great & very accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Ali Shojaei. He has completely transformed my smile. I finally have the confidence to show my teeth which is something I haven't been able to do for years. He is very professional and very meticulous. All of the staff are all soo incredible. They make you feel like family every time you walk through their doors.

Dr. Shojaei has always been very kind and informative. The staff are great - very friendly and always smiling. They do a great job. My son was dreading getting braces until he met the staff and felt completely comfortable. If my youngest daughter ends up needing braces, I will definitely bring her to Dr. Shojaei. The staff are great....Dr is very snobby.. .I won't recommend him to any of my friends.. .if it want because of his staff, I would stop taking my child to that locations... it's like it's too much for Dr to talk to parents...at least it was my experience.. .

Thank you for your feedback. This is Mari, the manager of the practice. Thank you for your kind words about our team. Dr. Shojaei selected each of us because of our love of people. We are lucky to have the most wonderful patients and patient families and we love coming to work every day!
Dr. Shojaei is a wonderful man, caring and compassionate, and we are honoured to work with him. He is also very shy, very humble and very focused on his work. In our office, Dr. Shojaei performs the treatment himself, rather than work in a supervisory capacity (which is often the case in orthodontic practices, where hygienists or assistants perform many of the procedures). As a result, Dr. Shojaei does not always have adequate time to engage in non-treatment conversation. He is, of course, always ready to answer any questions his patients or their parents have about the ongoing orthodontic treatment. If you have unanswered questions about your child's treatment, please call me or Sharon, our lovely receptionist, and we will schedule uninterrupted time for you to meet with Dr. Shojaei so he is able to address any questions or concerns. As so many of our patient families need appointments before and after school and work, we are usually not able to reserve uninterrupted time before 10:00 am or after 3:00 pm during the week or on Saturdays. If, however, these are your only available times, we will absolutely accomodate your needs.

My experience with Dr. Shojaei and Aurora Orthodontics was nothing short of excellent. I had many questions about getting braces as an adult. Dr. Shojaei and his staff were patient and pleasant as they answered them all. I never felt rushed or that my questions were silly. The treatment was explained in detail and they helped me figure out what my insurance would pay me back.
I'm so happy with my teeth now. I definitely recommend this office. Mary B.

We are certainly very proud of our reputation as an incredibly caring, helpful and professional orthodontic practice, consistently delivering excellence in both customer service and treatment results. We have never received this feedback in the post-appointment patient surveys we regularly send to our clients to make sure we're meeting and surpassing their expectations. Our other reviews here, on Google and our Facebook page will offer a significantly different perspective.
Due to the anonymous nature of these postings, it is not unheard of that a negative review is posted by a person or entity for ulteriour motives. We believe people are able to view a posting like this as possibly having some motivation other than being an accurate review of our people and services.

Biography

Dr.. Shojaei's academic career blossomed at the University of Toronto where he received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Human Biology (1997), a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2001, and a Masters of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Orthodontics (2005). During his studies, he has received numerous awards and scholarships and has been one of the top students in his class. He became a member of the Fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC) in 2005 and brings with him an unparalleled eagerness to practice orthodontics. He has been practicing orthodontics in Aurora since 2005 and just recently moved to a new location in Richmond Hill. As a dentist, Dr. Shojaei has worked part time for four years in several dental offices in Ontario and Nova Scotia. He also completed a hospital residency program at Sunnybrook and Women's Hospital (2002) gaining valuable experience in managing TMD and orthognathic surgery patients. In addition, he has been a part time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry for the past four years. He has been teaching radiology, preventive dentistry and orthodontics to dental students and has published numerous articles in various prominent dental/medical journals. Since starting his practices, Dr. Shojaei has utilized a treatment philosophy based on two simple principles. First, to employ the most up to date technology in providing an outstanding functional result while creating an exceptionally natural and esthetic smile. Secondly to treat everyone as you would a friend or family member. Dr. Shojaei describes himself as fortunate to have the ability to serve two very special communities. "Our offices are able, through the support of our referring doctors, to select and provide care to individuals in need of orthodontic treatment, preferably in their formative years, who would otherwise suffer through dental-related social problems for the rest of their lives…what greater gift can a profession offer?"
