Extremely rough and painful vaginal examination; she seemed to be in a big hurry and was annoyed when I asked her to be more gentle. Looking for a new doctor.

I usually respect and admire doctors. Dr. Haveman does a disservice to her colleagues. Completely unprofessional.

Very rude, put words into my mouth, assumed she knew everything about me within 5 minutes of meeting me, will not be returning and couldn't call my insurance company fast enough to remove her as my primary. I felt like I was being judged after she told me i live a "unstable" life in her definition. I'm not a doctor by any means, but I am not unstable by any means either. (I know people in denial say that.. but I'm seriously really not) Not a good addition to Spectrum Health, I highly recommend Zeeland Community Hospital, just not with her.

I am very glad that Dr. Haveman had come to Caledonia. She is a great asset to the Advantage Health office their. If it wasn't for her picking up on my daughters lack of a red reflex in her left eye at her first well child check she may have ended up blind. She caught this problem when the people at the hospital missed it. She also went the extra step to make sure that my daughter was seen by the pediatric optomologist as soon as possible, which is critical when dealing with infant cataracts because of how babies vision develops. She also take the time to call personally which I have never heard of another doctor doing so. She is gentle and kind and takes into consideration your concerns when following up on something. I highly reccomend her.

Dr. Haveman is great both me and my husband love her. She and her staff will work with you to help you find the best treatment for your particular health issues. She is is very helpful and knowledgable. Her office has a freindly laid back atmosphere that makes you feel very comfortable. I would recomend her to anyone looking for a great doctor

I have been a patient with Advantage Health for years. I was not happy Dr. Joslin left and I considered leaving that office. Thinking oh just give the new Doctor a try, was a good move, Dr. Haveman is wonderful I love her. I seen her today and wanted to say something nice about her she gives up so much to take care of others. I have seen her for many different reasons, sinus infection, GYN exams and so on and I was surprised how gentle she was. I have had three kids and I never remember any of my baby Doctors being that gentle. She is down to earth not this hurry up whats your problem kind of Doctor as so many others are. She is always kind and confident and that is what makes me trust her. She doesn't mind if I want to talk to her privately, and she doesn't make me feel rushed or stupid. She seems knowledgeable about the subjects we have talked about and has always made me feel better. I highly recommend her and I do to my friends!

I had an excellent check up. she knew what she was supposed to check/ do and she was very very gentle and a kind to me and focused on my problem so that i felt as if i was her ONLY patient. she made me feel valued, and respected. Her approach to my issues was very professional and medications which i received took care of the problem. i am very grateful to have such a wonderful, talented and beautiful doctor . i will always reccomend her to my family and friends. Thank you very much, you are the BEST DOCTOR EVER!

Dr Joanna Haveman is a very kind, and helpful professional. She listen to my sytuation carefully, and with full attention, and treatment, and medications she prescribed to me were just right. I will always reffer her to all my family, and friends. Way to go:) Dr Haveman:)

This Doctor Haverman changed medication that worked well for me many years. refused to switch it back to what works. Added a new medication to a medication iam already on. I broke out in sever hives. The ambalance was called and the next day after contacting the doctor on this matter i was informed that she didnt understand why i would have that kind of reaction after being on the new med for 3 weeks and should continue taking it until i saw her again.After many frusturating calls to recieve refills on medacations i have been on for years because of a medical dignose, i was told even tho i had just seen her to return before she would " GIVE YOU ANY MEDICATION" until she saw me again! Now by my own choice i will be looking for a more experinced Doctor who is concerned with my medical needs! This Doctor is NOT recamended by me at all. Out of all the Doctors i have ever seen she is the least compasionate and knowledgeable one i have ever ment!
