I’ve been going to Doctor Cheng for over 10+ years now and I can honestly say with my experiences with so many other doctors and specialists, she is 100% the most caring, trustworthy and knowledgeable doctor out there. I think a lot of people going to see doctors may have really high expectations of what level of “service” they’re supposed to provide but fail to remember that they’re actually there to help us, and not there to serve us. Doctor Cheng is always very punctual and she always takes the time to thoroughly understand my concerns and talk to me about what options there are. Every time I end my visit with her, I feel more relieved because I know she didn’t just try to brush me off with vague answers but she actually took the time to explain to me what the symptoms may mean and what the next steps might be. Thank you Doctor Cheng for being such a caring doctor!

In my personal experience with Dr. Michelle Cheng, I have always had a great rapport with her. She is very attentive, thorough and cares for her patients. I can always trust that Dr. Cheng will be forthcoming with me and she isn't afraid to ask the tough questions. Now, when I say she's tough, I mean it in the best way possible. She doesn't sugarcoat things or beat around the bush. She tells it like it is, and that's something I've come to appreciate. She never hesitates to give me the hard truths when necessary, which has been instrumental in my overall health journey. Her tough love approach has motivated me to take better care of myself and make positive changes in my lifestyle. I am thankful to have Dr. Michelle Cheng in my corner and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a great physician who will look out for their best interests!

Is a terrible doctor and should not be a physician, go back to being a software engineer.. Very combative, for example she said that she liked to do counselling/therapy for her patients (obviously has no experience, is in just for the money). During one of these 'sessions' at a time when I was in a very difficult time in my life she made a comment I did not like and by the end of it was screaming at me, should of been my first and only red flag to get out. Go find a new family doctor if you are under her care, has most likely caused more harm then good through out her career as a doctor. Was never on time either although was so anal about you being on time, major hypocrite.

I was with her for over 15 years and I finally got a new fabulous family doctor.
Michelle was always negative, judging how I live (for ex: I didn’t want to use condoms with my husband but she said I should be worried with diseases/him cheating on me). I was mind blown.
Recently, I passed an 4 cm piece of flesh with veins (it came out when I peed). She told me not to worry and no need to test it to confirm what it was or if it was harmful. I said that I would like to be reassured it wasn’t anything concerning. She proceeded to tell me it would be a hassle for her to get the container from another doctor’s office in the building because she didn’t have any. It was 3pm and she said they close at 5pm. She said she sent it off and I was never contact again about it.
This is just one example of my horrible experiences with her. Her mindset is always “my way or the highway”. She will also blame the patient for things and be very condescending. She remembers nothing about me but is always typing on her computer during appointments.
Ultimately, she is just not a people’s person, she is not kind, she talks down to you like she’s the boss. I feel horrible for her Secretary/personal assistant. It’s gross, truly as a family doctor she needs to do some self reflection.

Receptionist extremely rude and pompous. Travel quite a distance, taking up to an hour one way, for each appointment and can only have prescriptions renewed with in-person visit of 10 minutes maximum, and must rebook to discuss anything else.
Need to find another family doctor, though that's not proving to be easy.

Zero stars if I could for Michelle Cheng. I never write negative reviews on here as you can see but this takes it to the next level. Like the other negative comments here, she was very rude and unprofessional to me. I’ve ignored it many many times and given chances but it was all too much when she took out her anger on me for an argument she had with my optometrist for not getting the paperwork she required on my eye test. I had nothing to do with it! I’m sitting there in her office and she goes on and on yelling at me why I continue to go to that optometrist and why I pay her fees and that I should go to her optometrist nearby instead. It’s MY choice! I don’t tell you where you should shop and eat? She was basically questioning my decisions and embarrassing me speaking so loudly that patients waiting in the lobby must’ve heard since I got a giggle from one when I later left. I felt very intimidated, a side of her like nothing I’ve ever seen in over 12 years. Truly unbelievable, I was in shock how she was down talking me in a condescending manner. I just sat there listening to her and nodding my head agreeing with her so she wouldn’t get more angry but it didn’t help.
It didn’t stop there. Following my blood test I was supposed to visit her to review the results like I always do but obviously after my last visit I did not want to speak or see her. I felt very uncomfortable to do so. She continued to have her staff do the dirty work and blow up my phone multiple times and even emailing me to come in and review my results. I decided to reply to the email stating no I will not be coming in for this blood review, only this time (Until I cool down and once again forgive her). All I wanted was a simple apology. It was very clear I was not saying I do not want to come in ever again.
Instead of offering an apology, as any understanding person would do, and perhaps realizing how unprofessional she was with me, I instead get a letter in the mail today stating she is no longer providing services to me and that I find a new doctor asap. Very immature and disappointed in her for taking the easy way out instead of confronting her mistake and wrongdoings. I am deeply offended and disgusted of her disrespectful selfish action.
I highly suggest everyone be very careful when picking your family doctor.
Wish her the best and thank you for all the years of your help, let’s part ways as you wish.

Was her patient for a couple years. Absolutely terrible human being, cold, rude, condescending, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful. DO NOT GO TO HER. and michelle… find a new job, this isn’t for you.

Get out while you still can! Had Michelle as my doctor for way too many years. She’s condescending, talks to you like a nobody and has always been rude without manners.

Amazing & Caring doctor. Dr. Michelle is a very thorough and knowledgable doctor. She doesn't skip a beat and ensures all your issues are taken care of. Always on time and you never have to wait to see her. Cares about her patients and takes time out of her own schedule to ensure she fits you in. My elderly dad and I could not ask for a better doctor :)

This doctor is not helpful at all. She's cold and rude. I need to find a new doctor, but they are hard to come by these days. Avoid this doc if you can.
