This Dr is ok as long as you don't have any issues. Even with an appt expect to wait and extra 30 mins on average for each appt. Staff is not that friendly. Have been a patient for 9+ years and finally ready to make a change since I was not told the results of my test and am now having health issues.

I've been with Dr. Carmen for about 5 years now and she is very very helpful. My previous gynecologist left such a sour taste in my mouth with her quick examinations and lack of one on one consultations. I like Dr. Carmen because she takes her time with me, and gives me the full story of what's going on down there. She's full of intellect, and above all, tries to make sure you are comfortable during your examinations. I have recommended her to others, including my mother; each person is happy that they've become one of her patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carmen's for about 6 years. I drive from NY to see her. I've had a number of gyns and none of them were caring and informative. Dr. Carmen always takes her time with me. I am really happy I was able to find Dr. Carmen.

I was very disappointed with her. I have interstitial cystitis and vulvar vestibulitis and frankly this woman treated me like she was annoyed that I was sick. Also, I had put on my chart that I have complex PTSD and therefore do not want children. What does she do? She tells me that she went into this business "to deliver babies and do fun stuff" (while chewing food she must have gotten out of the back)and then left me crying with no tissue and she didn't even give me anything to clean up with after the vag exam. She truly did not care and told me so. This is a case where his woman obviously should have just become a widwife because she has no business calling herself a gyn if she cannot preform her duties. Only go to her if you have a perfect uncomplicated pregnancy, anything else and she will treat you like she works at Starbucks and is annoyed that she has to make another drink. Pathetic.
