Dr. Salhotra has been my primary care physician for many years. He is knowledgeable, cares about the patients and is careful about which medications to prescribe, often discontinuing those that may be causing problems instead of adding more meds to treat the side effects of others. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Salhotra!

DR. SALHOTRA HAS BEEN OUR DOCTOR SINCE 2016. He has helped us through so many health issues. MOST SIGNIFICANTLY WAS THE JOURNEY OFF OPIOIDS! After spinal surgery in 2004 at Loma Linda our doctor referred us to pain management. Then began opioids, physical therapy, epidurals, tens units, a suggested $70K implant to stop pain. WE CHANGED TO OUR NEW PRIMARY DOCTOR, DR. PREM SALHOTRA in 2016. After a stomach issue Dr. Salhotra said, "You have to get off opioids!" He said he could help with withdrawal. He prescribed Baclofen. It was a slow process but a successful one! NOW OPIOID FREE SINCE JULY 2018.

Yes, there is still pain but instead of opioids; CBD OIL, CBD CREAM, TWO OLD GOATS, TIGER BALM AND ARNICARE. PAIN IS REAL BUT AFTER BEING ON OPIOIDS FOR 14 YEARS, IT'S APPARENT THE DRUG TELLS THE BRAIN TO MAKE PAIN AS IT WANTS MORE!

WE HAVE THE GREATEST RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FOR DR. SALHOTRA FOR HE GAVE US OUR LIVES BACK!!!

Dr. Salhotra is definitely the best doctor up here in the high desert. I am a RN and have worked with Dr. Salhotra for over a year and he is the nicest and easiest doctor of all the doctors I work with to get a hold of and communicate with concerning my residents on a professional level. On a personal level my husband is under Dr. Salhotra's care and he is still in my blessed presence... I am so thankful he is under Dr. Salhotra's care considering the professional relationships I have with high desert doctors. A friend of mine is under Dr. Salhotra's care and the following is a quote from my friend "Dr. Salhotra is the only doctor I know, I have gone to him for years and he has taken the best care of me, I have good insurance, and Dr. Salhotra one day told me that I had to start going to the clinic to be seen cause Dude is closing his GOOD insurance office to stay working with the POOR at the Medi-Cal clinic...What doctor does that?! He is a good man... a GOOD and RIGHTEOUS man!" My ex-husband also is now under Dr. Salhotra's care... because his doctor left the Med-Cal clinic; very rudely left -- as my ex described... So Dr. Salhotra is definitely the best doctor in the high desert!!!

We worked together at local hospital 5+ years. He took care of 3 generations of my family and me excellently, I know since my career lasted 30 years as an RN. His career keeps going because his patients and family, are why he is always learning and practicing the best he can do! I love him like a best friend, brother, He is continuing to doctor me with my aging 69 year old health issues. Thank you for this opportunity to share!
