Went to him twice with long term (3 yrs) very painful foot issue. Two ultrasounds. Was stumped on my issue. Kept changing his mind. Had me go out and buy $230 runners. Said he would confer with other drs and get back to me. Called me 3 weeks later and said he was leaving info for me at the front desk for pickup and to take the shoes back. Too late!! Went and got what he left. Seriously?!?! A photocopy on how to order orthotics in the US. Sad to think he came highly recommended. Very disappointed to say the least

The waiting was quite long on more than one occasion. He was kind and caring, but did not do what the appointment was booked for. Errors led to problems and I ended up seeking care elsewhere. His intentions seemed good.

Great Doctor, period. His demeanour will instantly put you at ease.. He will answer your every question to the best of his knowledge and is very honest.. During the pandemic, I needed an orthotic very badly, so he personally arranged and accommodated for a clinic appt. ( following of course BC protocols) He modified my orthotics to really fit my shoes.. highly recommend him if you suffer from foot pain!!

Wow! A doctor who is on time!! I think I’ve seen every podiatrist on Vancouver Island and Dr. Zee is at the top of the heap. He’s thorough, knowledgeable, and fun. He’s also very handy at whipping things up immediately to give instant relief To those suffering chronic foot pain. I love this guy!

If you want fantastic treatment and full information about what is happening with your feet go to Dr. Z. I moved from Nanaimo to Victoria but still make the drive to see him. So worth it!

Disappointing for me after reading all of these excellent reviews. He did an excellent assessment but seems very narrow-minded in his knowledge. I have arthrtis and sesmoiditis in my foot and he suggested I use a stiff, rocker-like shoe. At the time of the appointment, I was wearing flat and wide minimalist shoe which he said would cause injury and wouldn't help. I also asked about exercises/stretching but again, he said they wouldn't help. I was also wearing the product, Correct Toes--same reaction. I did go out and buy the shoes he suggested, which I found very uncomfortable and didn't help at all. I continued using my minimalist shoes and the correct toes and now my foot issue is much improved. Perhaps podiatrists need to open their minds a bit more to other options other than the ones they are trained in?

I paid $595 for orthotics which hurt me. He tried a couple of quick solutions which didn't work then he told me that he can't do anything further. So I have a pair of $ 600 orthotics that are useless to me. Very upsetting and very unprofessional in that he has charged me with no resolve.

Drove 2 hours there and 2 hours back specifically to see Dr. Zanbilowicz. I have been to a number of doctors already for unrelated and related issues, and I have never come across a doctor as terrific as Dr. Z!

His team got me in on time, and Dr. Z did an ultrasound within 5 minutes (no extra charge), note that before I saw Dr.Z, I have been waiting to get an ultrasound done for 3 months now. He took his time, chatted, explained what the issue was, and explained the most up to date treatments. He asked tons of questions and explained his medical rationale. He also gave me his cell number and told me to text him the name of the physio clinic for shock wave therapy so he could call them and find out what kind of machine they have to make sure the treatment would be effective. I texted him the name of two clinics and within minutes he replied with what clinic would be better.

Could not have asked for a more caring doctor who truly puts effort into his practice. Would highly recommend seeing Dr. Z. I know he is now me and my family's podiatrist of choice.
