Went to Dr. Beardain for routine cleaning. She told me I had a cavity which required crowning the tooth, and that it needed to be done now to prevent losing the tooth. I have always gotten my teeth cleaned every six months, and my regular dentist had told me I had no cavities on my last visit to him so I went back to him for a second opinion. He made x-rays and compared them to the six-month-old ones, and he visually examined my teeth thoroughly. There is not a cavity in my mouth! She was going to bilk my insurance, and in the process cost me nearly $500 in copay!!!
