I went to Dr. Katz for years as a child with Stomach problems. He did very through testing but when he could not determine the cause of the pain he said it was "In my Head". Fast forward 4 years later, I went to a General Surgeon and asked for a laparoscopic evaluation. This procedure found that there in fact was a sever problem. This could have been solved 10 years sooner had Dr Katz focused on the pain and not blame depression due to a family tragedy as the cause. Looking outside his comfort zone would have saved me at least 10 years of pain.
