I finally found a doctor I like!!!! he is very caring and spent a lot of time explaining things. He got me better without surgery when all the other doctors said they wanted to operate on me.

I saw This doctor because of a injury at work. He found a tumor that we didn't know about. I didnt have any insurance other than workers comp and they would not pay for the surgery for the tumor. The doctor, treated my injury and my tumor and didnt charge me for it. I feel great! the tumor is not a bad one and he said it will not come back and my injure is healed. He was a very caring and good doctor.

Its good to know we have this kind of quality in Casper. I did my research and actually went to Salt Lake City to the University first. I got the feeling that my problem was a little too much for them to handle. I saw Dr. Wieder as a third opinion and he agreed to accept my case. I had a new kind of surgery and had a screw placed under the tail bone into my spine to fix the bottom 2 spinal bones, and then through my side to correct scolioses at 2 more areas. I went home in 2 days. I am now back to work and feeling better than I have in years. I feel like i should have done it 10 years ago!! I could have gone anywhere and I found it right in my own backyard!

Dr Wieder performed 2 surgeries on my Lumbar spine.The second one being a fusion. He said I would be able to motivate and walk better, with less pain. I am nearly homebound due to this treatment. I have pain specialist, anesthesia specialist and continue to have a horrendous amount of pain. I am in constant pain but I cannot not have another surgery because the fusion cannot be removed. I wish I had never seem Dr Wieder for this pain. I feel that he is incompetent. Thank you

Had 3 back surgeries by 3 different neurosuurgeons. Dr. Wieder was head & shoulders above the other two.

Dr. Wieder Used to practice in Denver. I followed him when he moved to Wyoming. I am a 43 year old patient who has had many spine surgeries by other doctors. Only Dr. Wieder took the time to find my real problem and for the first time in 7 years, I am living pain free. I even sent a friend and a family member to him. They have had similar results. I encourage everyone looking for a compassionate, great surgeon to do their research, go to google.com and type in his name. You will see that I am not the only patient that sings high praise. If I ever need more surgery on my back, god forbid, I would travel to the end of the globe for dr. wieder before I would let anyone else touch me. It does take a long time to get in to see him though, but I know that he tries to see the patients in the most pain first. SO if you need to see him quick ask his secretary to talk to him.
