I had a TKR with Simon last June. When I came out of the anaesthetic, the nursing staff asked what my pain level out of 10 was... I told them .5 no need for any pain drugs just osteo panadol. Discomfort only experienced NO pain.
All good now, would not hesitation recommending Simon to any patient wanting a new knee! Or, any other joint he specialises in.

I have had several surgeries with Dr Hutabarat ., including a knee replacement. Always found him very caring , supportive, knowledgeable and personable . He is a very positive Doctor. Will always return to him when I need his care and advise.

Brilliant surgeon, totally worth travelling for. I blew my right shoulder and other than some small scars you would never know. Very laid back and relaxed while still being incredibly professional. Very highly recommended.

Simon rebuilt my right shoulder and did fantastic job. Almost complete mobility once rehab was complete. Would not hesitate to recommend him or return to him if I require surgery in the future. Excellent pre and post surgery communication.

such a shame this great surgeon is not available in the public hospital system to train new surgeons to be like him. He is a loss to those who cannot afford top private hosp cover. Simon talks to you about every aspect of care very patiently. I am terridfied of surgery having bad experiences in the past because I bleed excessively and do not do well with aneasthetic. I have had 2 surgeries with him this year One major surgery and one day surgery with excellent results..He is practicle and down to earth.

it was my first bad injury i felt very confident and secure with the doctor and his staff couldnt have been more helpful if they tried there was not one question i had not answered they were all fantastic and would recommend him to anyone
