I had a surgery with Dr. Peter, The stitches looks like he never done it ever in his life. Looks terrible. His receptionist barely pick up calls or check the voicemail. After 20 calls, you will be lucky to reach to her.

Excellent professional Doctor he basically safe my life I was having stone surgery that he performed 5 yrs issues with kidney stones that other specialists doesn’t help me Dr Vlaovic resolve in my second visit and book the surgery in fast timing I don’t have any kidney issues since I done surgery in 2013

It's sad to see previous comments about this Doctor and his receptionist. As I am a current patients for years and while all doctors stopped seeing patients in person when Covid19 began in 2020 Dr. Vlaovic and Rita never STOPPED. Sadly receptionists take the grunt of a lot from patients and if it is her job to say patients can not be seen without a valid health card that is actually common sense. How would the doctor get paid? As for the 5 people capacity in there office if you were in the hallway for so long how did you not see the sign under the doctors name and next two the door a BIG RED STOP SIGN and other signs. Yet you want to get angry with someone trying to do there job while keeping themselves safe during a pandemic that's still actually going on. Sorry you maybe ill or someone you love is, but that doesn't mean you should come on here to complain. This site is to rate doctor's not there staff. To Dr.Vlaovic and Rita Keep up the great work you do. God bless you both

Dr Vlaovic was kind, personable and helpful to my
wheelchair and very fragile husband who he remembered from 6 years prior. His female receptionist never returned my call left 2 weeks prior to the appointment. Upon our arrival I went to check in while my son waited in the hallway with my husband. The reception took a while to acknowledge my presences and then promptly told me only 5 people are allowed in the waiting area. So I went in the hall to wait until one of the other waiting patients exited. The receptionist 's behavior was curt, rude, and unprofessional as she informed that the Healthcare copy I gave her was not right and my husband would not be seen, as she has been having trouble with people from the nursing homes not paying the doctor. All this in a loud and rude tone in front of u he others in the waiting room. I was stunned.. I told her his health card was on the form prepared by the nursing home which I brought. She updated it in the system and so we were allowed to be seen. We then waited in the hall way until she called us back to the waiting room. By the way there was no sign anywhere to indicate that only 5 people are allowed in the waiting room.

The receptionists behavior was so rude that the other patients seemed embarrassed for me. They began offering me their place in the waiting room, but I chose to wait in the hallway where there was one other patient waiting until she called us in.

Invariably things can go wrong I any interaction. I do believe if you are dealing with the public. especially in health care where patients and loved ones may already be feeling anxious you have a responsibility to be respectful, caring, and empathetic....be part of the solution instead of adding to their stress. It took a lot of planning and preparation who is on cfort care to get to that much needed appointment. Not to have been seen would be a disaster, especially when a phone call could have been made to the nursing home then or after for the health card number. She had no suggestions or solutions to the problem...just simply didn't care and was rude.

After a 45 minutes ride on the Wheel Trans with a fragile patient I deserved better from discourteous receptionist. She needs sensitivity training.

Thanks to Dr. Vlaovic and the kind people in the waiting room that interacted with us for reminding us that there are respectful and empathetic people in thus world, They showed us respect and care , and for that I am grateful. May you all receive the same measure of care and respect in your life.

I here left a hasty review . I had surgery April 13 and since then only the first week I felt better and improved. Since then up to now I’m still suffering . Waking up 3 times or more at night . Some nights I experience retention . Pelvic pain and so many knots and twists in my pelvis and mid abdomen. I was so hopeful the bladder neck surgery improve my life and I get my social life back .. Since the surgery I feel like my mid back down to pelvis is rolled up . I can’t go out for long period of time . I’m so depressed and frustrated with my life. I saw dr. Vlaovuc once after the surgery . He seems like not interested to hear negative words that his recommended surgery didn’t change my life for better. I warn patients not to make hasty decisions for having surgery as when it’s done it’s done .

Dr. Vloavic. Is amazing Doctor . His kind , polite attentive deamnor make a patient who welcomed and comfortable. I was suffering from urnary symptoms for years . Dr. Vlaovic diagnosed me with tight bladder neck. Just last week he operated me , even though I was panicking about the Renault he was understanding with me . He connected me with all home care nurse and saw me when I needed . He assured me I m going to get better and sure enough a week after the surgery I saw my urination improved. I was on catheter four only 4 days. I can see now I’m going to beg better and better. My meaningful social life is on horizon. Life spending in washroom is over. I can’t decribe fully my happiness with Dr. Vloavic in words. The best part is I had no side effect lite retrograde ejaculation either . Dr. Vloavic not only given me back my social life also my sex life. I’m so thankful to him. I recommend him completely. If you have urinary trac symptoms see this doctor you be amazed and revitalized by him . Thank you again Dr. Vlaovic!
