my referral was to have an ultra sound done. MD said she was not set up to do it. Would do a biopsy if I wanted. Didnt have time to do ultrasound because had to go to the hospital. Whole visist took 5 minute with nothing addressed that I had gone to see her for. Still chagred my insurance full amount and me my 40 dollars copay. Never refer this doctor to anyone or go myself.

Ok, First, she has this online portal thing that she posts your test results to after you have lab work done. I can not figure out that thing. Plus, im not comfortable with my records being posted online to a profile that i cant even access. I never got a phone call about my pap smear results, but im assuming no call is good. Second, i called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Schrier and It was fairly easy, I'll give her that. When i got there on the day of my appointment, i wasnt in the system. I'll write that off as human error. Hey, it happens. The receptionists got me in the same day at almost the same time. I think i waited a total of 30 minutes. No biggy. The real fun began when i got into the room. I waited for an hour and when she finally came in to see me, she did a pap smear and almost rushed out the door. I had to stop her to ask her about the severe pelvic pain and cysts I'd been having for the last couple of years. When i mentioned that i had an IUD she said that it was normal because im still having my cycle but not releasing an egg and there wasnt anything i could do about it, except switch birth control. I said ok, can we talk about my options. She said nuva ring was the best option, handed me 3 to try and said to call her if the pain didnt go away. I waited for this pain to stop but from that day on it got worse, so, only two and a half weeks later i called and scheduled another appointment. Getting in was easy, the receptionist and her medical assistant are great. As soon as Dr. S walked through the door, she said "so how are you doing now that you are in the middle of your cycle?" Ok, theres my first clue that this doctor is not going to get me anywhere. I said i was still hurting and again, she said its my cycle. And again she almost rushed out the door. I had to stop her and tell her that if the mirena was causing the cysts, wouldn't having it removed be the sensible thing to do. This is what made me lose my patients with her. She looked me dead in the eye and said, "you're going to be in pain whether you take it out or keep it in, so theres no point. Do you want another baby? Because thats whats gonna happen if i take it out." And with that, she walked out. So i calmly gathered my things, paid my copay and walked out. I will never go to that woman again and i suggest that if you're considering going to her, dont. She's nice and all, but she doesn't listen and she acts like shes took good for your problems and she treats you like a child.

Little wait time (less than 5 min). Friendly staff who communicated very well what to expect from my visit. Dr. Schrier was not rushed when she saw me -- took her time and addressed all issues. She is very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable talking to her about a very personal issue. I also like the fact that she now specializes in women beyond childbirth years. I would highly recommend her to my friends.

Dr. Shrier was my 2nd option when moving to Georgetown, after leaving an awesome OBGYN practice in San Antonio. I was 7 months pregnant when we moved. When I found her I really enjoyed her in the office. Although, she was always unprepared with her notes. We seem to always go over the same questions, as if they were the first time she heard them. I let her know ahead of delivery that my 2nd birth had shoulder dystocia/dysplacia(sp) and I was concerned with this 3rd baby. She always dismissed that concern. She never performed an ultrasound until week 37, when I demanded one because I knew this baby as different in the way I was carrying her. At 39 weeks I delivered a 10 lb baby with shoulder dystocia/dysplacia(sp). Delivery was horrible and she seemed to be ill prepared again! Thank goodness for her partner, Dr. Mahaffey, who was the dr oncall for the weekend I delivered and her 2nd opinion when an issue arose after being discharged. I should of gone with him as my OBGYN.

Dr. Schrier delivered my son almost 8 years ago. She was wonderful. I had some challenges with my pregnancy and delivery. She was awesome. She is honest and to the point, which suits me just fine! Dr. Schrier took precaution and paid attention to a previous surgery (a total colectomy) I had and delivered my 10lb boy with out risking a c section, which had the potential of giving me problems with my colectomy. I completly trust her and will stay with her. She and her staff have always been respectful. When she has ran late, it was because she was delivering a baby. To be expected. ST

Dr. Schrier was very helpful regarding infertility. She is very easy going and treats you like a normal person not just a number. She makes your exam a comfortable process. I would recommend her to anyone. I think some people just don't ask questions and she's not a mind reader. It's your health so ask the questions and let her educate you. She great that's all I have to say!

She has the worst bedside manner ever. I had passed out and was having contractions every 2-3 minutes (nurse confirmed my contractions). She was dismissive, rude and talked to me as if I was a moronic teenager. She never ran a blood test to see why I had passed out and was upset because I wouldn't allow nurses to examine me (I am very modest). I am finding a new dr office before I get to my due date. I don't trust this woman to be within 20 feet of me or my baby.
