My doctor of 15 years retired. Allen is new doctor for me. Rated this doctor poorly for the following reasons: Second appt. was at 7:30am. By 7:50am everyone in the waiting room had gone in to see their doctor (it's a clinic)but me. Went to the window to ask about delay, was told the nurse & doctor hadn't arrived. Asked if their was an emergency, the response was no, maybe they had other issues, but the clinic staff had not heard from the doctor or the nurse. In room-8:15am prepped by another doc's staff. My doc is now there, bp was high, doctor added Lisinopril to my Atenolol. On 3rd visit, 3 weeks later, bp still high, changed Lisinopril to Bencort (sp?) After 1 week bp still high. Called on a Tuesday at 7:52am, left message. No call back. On Wednesday called again at 10:30am. Talked with nurse (don't think she is) and she said, oh, well, just go to the heart hospital. Don't need a heart hospital, need a doctor that knows how to manage blood pressure. Won't go back.

I HATE COMING TO THIS DOCTOR VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH HER & STAFF AND DOCTOR DOES NOT SEEM TO BE CONCERNED WITH THE PATIENTS HEALTH DOES NOT EXPLAIN NOTHING I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND DR ERIN ALLEN TO NO ONE

Dr. Allen spent quite a long time with me doing patient education. She is knowledgeable and thorough, and breaks things down so that they are easy to understand. So glad I found her! Her nurse Ashley is also great.
