I went to Access Dental on Hatch Road because it was fully covered by my insurance where my usual dentist is not. I had a cracked tooth and had the option of either an extraction or a costly root canal. As I did not have the nearly $2,000, I opted for an extraction. Dr. Guerra and the managing dentist had a difficult time with the extraction as the roots were deep on the molar. I am fine with a certain amount of pain but they were yanking on the tooth pushing against my head for leverage for 3 hours. By the time it was loose enough to get out, I was no longer numb. During one rough yank I felt the root begin to separate from the bone and was in searing pain. I asked to be re-numbed. I was but they resumed yanking not a minute later so it was obviously no help. I was screaming in pain, tears streaming down my face, blood on my cheeks no one wiped off. It was inhumane, deplorable treatment. No savings is worth that treatment. Stay away from Access Dental on Hatch Rd in Ceres.
