After what I thought was a very successful joint replacement several years ago, I now suffer from severe nerve pain. The slightest touch on my shin bones is excruciating. Also, my leg length difference is much more uneven than what I was told could possibly happen. I deal with severe and chronic daily pain. I went from an athlete to spending too many days in bed these days. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I once was a big fan of Dr. Fracchia.

I don’t think 5 stars are enough te describe my mother’s experience with Dr. Fracchia but that’s how many google allowed me 😊.
My 82 year old mother was lucky enough to hear about Fracchia’s through a recommendation of a dear friend so we decided to take a drive out east to see him. This was 2 years ago. Since than Dr. Fracchia performed 2 procedures on my mother with the 2nd one being recent, about 6 weeks ago where my mother got a full knee replacement.

“You gotta like your doctor” I hear people say all the time. And let me tell you , my mom likes Dr. Fracchia a lot. Her face light up when she sees him , each time. So when it came to a decide on having a surgery of that magnitude for a person her age my mom decided that Dr.Fracchia knew best and agreed to it.

I have 5 siblings who strongly objected to this procedure , casting all kinds of doubts but today, 6 weeks after my mom had the successful procedure they’re now feeling borderline ashamed... my moms pain is almost gone, along with the scar on her kneecap 😊😊

And I hear and see this a lot. People live with pain , because they say they’re too old, fear they might get worse, they can’t find a doctor they like, they don’t do enough research on it.
I feel bad for them. Especially after seeing how much my mothers movement has improved, only 6 weeks after the surgery.

On behalf of my mother and the rest of the Dedaj family, Thank You Dr. Fracchia!! Big thanks to Michael as well as the rest of office team. Bringing my mom from the Bronx to Port Jefferson to see you has been well worth it for me.

Sincerely,
Arben Dedaj
Bronx, NY

Billed $5000 for closed fracture treatment of rib and clavicle but provided no actual treatment for either condition. Advised to wait 3 weeks and then on follow up advised waiting another 4 weeks. Got 2nd opinion who did surgery immediately because bone was misaligned and couldn't understand why this was not done originally. Would have left shoulder 2" shorter than other one and huge bump resulting in long term issues. Abrupt and arrogant manner doesn't help either. Should be avoided at all costs.

Dr Fracchia dealt beautifully with my hard of hearing elderly Mom with a painfully broken hip(and her equally hard of hearing husband) in explaining what was happening. He was patient, warm and informative - and with my brother's penchant for leaving no bone unbroken, Dr. Fracchia seems to have become the family orthopedist.
