I read the previous review and was worried. But once I met the doctor, he was awesome. Ver kind, considerate, and listened. He explain in different ways that made it easy to understand.

BY FAR THE WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCE MY WIFE AND I HAVE EVER HAD. I'm writing this review to save other parents from the experience we went through. Dr Luu practices delivery at the Alton Pkwy Kaiser location and is the worst Dr I have ever met. He repeatedly refused to listen to my wife's input and suggested a dangerous procedure that nearly killed our baby. He is a terrible Dr with even worse beside manner. He never once displayed a shred of sympathy after the suggested procedure almost flatlined our baby's heart rate. It was painfully clear he didn't care if my wife or baby died. He also didnt bother saying "Congrats" even once when our baby was born and when he had to stitch my wife up after the delivery he didnt even bother telling us what he did. Once again I'm writing this in the hope that I can prevent this experience from happening to as many parents and families as possible. AVOID THIS DR AT ALL COST, WE ARE EXPLORING MALPRACTICE LITIGATION IN REGARDS TO Dr. Luu!

I have look at the ratings and the one in 2011, was not what I had experienced. He was the complete opposite. All the other rating website rated him excellent. It was our first pregnancy and he took lots of time and was very knowledgable. We are seeing him now for our second pregnancy.

Dr. Luu was a welcome experience after seeing a gynecologist at Kaiser that in my opinion was terrible. Dr. Luu struck me as easy to talk to and helpful. However, I think he must be a new doctor, because he came across to me as not incredibly knowledgeable. This is just my opinion. I liked his demeanor though.

I had a positive experience with Dr. Luu. I gave birth to triplets and had some complications. Dr. Luu took time to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Dr. Luu is a caring doctor and made sure I got treatment for my post partum depression.

This doc is very rude, and NOT knowledgeable at all in this field. Not answered your questions, and wanted to kick you out his office immediately.
