Do not come here if you have/had interstitial cystitis.
Dr. Kenneson told me she “doesn’t believe in” an Rx that has proven to successfully treated my IC symptoms; also said cranberry supplements were OK —they’re most often not OK with IC; also suggested pelvic floor physical therapy 🤦‍♀️

She also broke down and prescribed me my past successful Rx (after I BEGGED her to try what has worked for me in past & said “please don’t reinvent the wheel for me”) BUT then she cancelled the prescription a day later bc of interactions with a two other Rxs .... she had a list of my Rxs the day she wrote the prescription

I’m not sure if they’re overloaded or if she’s burnt out
Do not come here if you want a partnership with an understanding healthcare provider—- keep looking

Absolutely excellent! I visited Dr Kenneson for a genital condition. She is very courteous and highly skilled and knowledgeable. She put me at ease and took the time to explain what she was doing during the exam. She was she was able to diagnose the plaque that two previous urologists missed (peyonie's disease). She she explained the full range of treatment options and advised the conservative options first. Her staff was courteous friendly and efficient. Her office Bluewater Urology Associates is 70 miles from me but it was defiantly worth the drive.

Found Dr. Kenneson on the internet myself after primary care referral to another was a farce. Caring doctor i thought at first. After cancer surgery and follow up pathology report indicating high grade cancer mixed with low grade, she wanted to immediately do the exact same surgery with chemo again. Extremely painful after the first surgery, but her nurse said I should have no pain when I asked what to expect after surgery. Wanted to opt for a scan first, then additional surgery if warranted. Didn't you do what was necessary the first time? Why the urgency to do surgery again so immediately and not forthcoming with an explanation?-- I agreed to the additional surgery but had second thoughts, wanted to heal from the first and take a slower approach. Wanted evidential provenance for a second surgery, informed them of my decision and was given a follow up appt. 4 days before the surgery was to take place I thought to discuss other options, but was called to be told a certified letter would be coming to oust me from their practice, that Dr. Kenneson was very worried about me and the real reason for the appt. was to convince me to have the surgery. I had called to cancel the appt. because of car issues, and reschedule when I could, the day prior. I dreaded going there anyway because of the staff, --every time I went I left feeling bad, Condescending and patronizing,--prior to the first surgery a cystoscopy was ordered--why are you here today? I'm having a procedure--You aren't having a procedure. Yes, I am having a procedure.--They don't know why you are there. After surgery I went home with a catheter and was told, return to the office two days later to have it removed. When there, was told we need to see if we can remove the catheter if you pass the voiding test. I was not told there was an if. Am I five?--Not forthcoming with the truth-, another in the room badgered me about smoking, you HAVE to quit smoking!!!--rather than please do your very best to quit smoking--who the heck do you think you are talking to?-- Like I don't have enough to deal with--same visit the initial medical tech has a cold, sneezing into her hand, wiping her nose upward in her palm, handing me a gown that falls on the floor, and I said something--she walked out and in comes the other two--Got a catheter up me, just had cancer surgery with chemo, and I want your cold for sure.--Good luck to you all.

Sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half in a standing room only waiting room with no air conditioning before called back and then waited another half an hour before I finally left. There are no apologies for a 2 hour wait.

Outstanding Doctor! Dr Kenneson saved my life. She detected the cancer early enough and removed it. Her surgical skill rendered the procedure basically painless. She always takes as much time in the office with me as needed. Her staff is friendly and courteous and always make me feel comfortable and at ease. I had two previous urologists that cant hold a candle to her. Dr. Kenneson is the best. I copied this comment from another because I totally agreed.

Dr Kenneson has provided excellent service for my father during some very critical periods while in intensive care at a local hospital. I credit her and some of the ICU staff with saving my father's life. She is now his primary Urologist and has performed several followup services. She is very knowledgable, professional and understands the concerns and stress inflicted on patients and family members during medical procedures. Her compassion and expertise is greatly appreciated. I would highly recommended Dr Kenneson to anyone.
