Dr Herlong has been a Godsend. I had refused pain Management for years, but finally gave in. He has been so understanding and supportive along my journey. We still have a lot of unanswered questions, but he and his staff help me and my family as we navigate the unknown. He has been such a blessing throughout this difficult process. He has a great bedside manner and a very gentle approach. He is not pushy and open to going at your pace. I can't recommend him enough. He has given me my life back.

He has absolutely no empathy or desire to improve patients lives. He said, “Fibromyalgia patients never get better, so what do you want me to do?” Yet he specializes in pain management- specifically listening Fibromyalgia!
I went to two visits and asked why I should return if there is nothing he can do and nothing he is willing to try (never ordered a single test or treatment) and he responded, “I never said you had to. There is no gun to your head!”
His lackadaisical, condescending, fatalistic tendencies could crush a depressed patient in severe pain and he should get out of this field!
