I usually hate going to the gyn but Dr. McIntosh made me feel at ease as soon as I met him for our first visit. His office staff was a little slow but that wasn't a big deal. Dr. McIntosh was very professional and friendly. He patiently listened to every question we had. He seemed very knowledgable but explained everything in a way we actually understood and without talking down to us( not always the case with Drs.). My husband said he feels like he talking to a buddy when we go. We feel confident with Dr. McIntosh delivering our first baby soon. I was SHOCKED to read the negative review above because our experience has been opposite. He probably wouldn't give her the drugs she was looking for. I wouldn't be surprised because this town is full of meth heads.

If you think that I am being to harsh when I give him a one on all of these categories I assure you it's too high. If I could give him and his office a zero I would. I spent 30 minutes waiting for someone to even show up to the receptionist counter and when they did it was with a sassy eye roll. I not only then had to wait another 20 minutes to be taken back but I was then ushered into the bathroom with a sticker and the door shut behind me before I even knew what was happening. I was going to a routine PAP but denied when he found out he couldn't look at my chart from past doctor. He does not listen to a word you say about your concerns for different forms of contraception and makes you feel like a complete idiot when you're talking to him. I not only will NEVER be going back but will make sure that everyone knows that he is just another doctor playing nice to the Pharmaceutical Reps to test out their latest drug, Don't waste your time on this insensitive prick.

I love this doctor. Very nice listened to all concerns adressed each one. Came to see you everyday in hospital. Contacts all your other doctors to insure he has all medical history always has a smile on. Will sit with you and listen as long as you need him. I begged him to let me go home early and he explained to me hes sorry but I was too sick and he needs me to stay longer,and showed me the labs and explained them to me as to why I'm too sick. he doesn't send in nurses to tell patients anything he talks to the patients himself and tells you his plan first. You couldn't ask for a better doctor
