I can not say enough good things about the treatment I received from Dr. Shaw.
From my first visit until follow up appointment after surgery he showed kindness, compassion and was very informative about the diagnosis and treatment options. All around a wonderful person and excellent surgeon.

What an amazing human, I can not say enough good about Dr. Shaw. Being diagnosed with a rare form of BC was scary, but he didn’t make me feel scared at all. Dr. Shaw was very informative, answered all the questions without me having to ask one lol. He performed a bilateral mastectomy for me and did what I think was a wonderful job. Was great with follow-up and has always made me feel I could go back with anything I needed without being a bother 🥰 highly recommended him!!!!

Called on time, took the time to carefully explain everything in language I could understand and really listened to my concerns. Turns I don’t need surgery after all but the medication he prescribed fixed me up perfectly. Thank you so much!!!

My consult with Dr Shaw was great. Explained everything and was very kind. The day of my surgery was very different. When he met me in pre-op, he was almost rude, distracted and seemed annoyed that I asked about when I was to see him after my surgery for a follow up and a note for my employer. He sharply told me to see my family Dr if I had any problems and he didn’t need to see me for a follow up. The sick note for my employer was an issue. I realize he may have had a tough day but I was a little nervous going into surgery. My sick note was signed by a different Dr and my pain meds were prescribed by another Dr. What’s up with that?

Today we had another Fantastic experience to see Doctor Shaw again for my wife following up. My wife had surgery about six weeks today. She is so grateful for Doctor Shaw’s amazing surgery. She asked doctor Shaw couple questions about her future examinations and treatments today. My wife felt so comfortable with his huge patience and kindness. Both of couple were born and grew up in China, immigrated Singapore 12 years, then immigrated Canada about 12 years . We never met such a amazing, nice and patient doctors like Doctor Shaw is. We are supper lucky in Grande prairie to have doctor Shaw. Only tons of thanks left in our hearts after every visiting him!!!!

Doctor Shaw was supper nice, professional and knowledgeable. He did great amazing surgery for my wife three weeks ago. Both of our English not good enough to understand quite well in professional medical words. Doctor Shaw tried his best with huge patience to explain all the questions we had. Which made us more comfortable and easier to understand the procedure and the surgery. Our hearts were melt at that moment during our family experienced very hard time. Doctor Shaw supper kind and very supportable. Before surgery Doctor Shaw very nice and professional talked to my wife which made my wife very comfortable and hopeful to get the surgery done. My wife survived with Doctor Shaw amazing surgery. We feel we are sooo lucky to have Doctor Shaw in Grande Prairie. He is supper professional and kind. Tons of thanks not enough. We are sooo appreciated forever to Doctor Shaw !!!! Highly recommend to see doctor Shaw!!!!
