I've been dealing with years of back pain, she's been a miracle worker. I've easily seen a dozen professionals through this. I'm finally making real progress. She's friendly, open, and has time for my questions. I drive an hour each way just to see her.

Seeing some of the other comments, she has been very clear about not taking my insurance, and about discounts by paying in advance. She gave me literature detailing this clearly.

When I first started visiting her for chiropractic adjustments, I had asked Emily if she gave a discount for multiple visits (if I had pre-paid and had booked a dozen visits). She told me at the outset that she could charge $35.00 per visit (as she refused to take any medical insurance). So, we verbally agreed on $35.00 per visit, provided that I pre-pay & book a dozen visits, which I always did. The dates of the visits were left up to mine and her availability. I usually booked them with her a week or so in advance (she had no office assistant). Emily had even sent a bulk form letter to all of her patients, clearly offering this pre-paid multi-visit discount (which I still have a copy of)... I trusted Emily with my debit card, to renew and manually pre-deduct a full lump sum payment for all 12 visits in advance. We did this for three years. I started noticing that she charged me for some visits that I had cancelled in advance (within her required prior notice time period). She apparently also took it upon herself, without any kind of notification to begin charging me (on her books) a rate of $55.00 per visit, even though I was booking a full dozen visits with her on a regular basis, visiting as often as two to three times a week. I was under the impression that I was still being charged what we agreed upon ($35.00 per visit). I began noticing that the 12 visits that I'd pre-paid were diminishing awfully fast, before she required yet another lump sum payment for the next 12 visits... For 3 years, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. One day, I asked her to give me copies of my visit records in their entirety, for insurance reasons (these included visit dates and a breakdown of per-visit charges of my pre-paid dozen visits). Emily suddenly snapped and became really defensive and said, "why, do you think I'm going to f&#% you over?" ....Hmm... Well, NOW I do! Sure enough, when I finally received the records, I saw that for three entire years, she was actually charging me $55.00 a visit, instead of the $35.00 that we agreed on. THAT'S STEALING!! I was naive enough to trust that she was being ethical, so I didn't get printed receipts for completed visits. Never again. To add insult to injury, she called herself my friend. She was always posting these "inspirational" memes on her Facebook wall, talking about moral ethics, karma, honesty, and loyalty, all while doing this behind my back, conscience-free. Emily Bobson took advantage of my trust and patronage for three solid years. I should've pressed felony charges and had her chiropractic license taken away. Never trust this woman, no matter how kind and friendly she seems. She will rob you blind!

Dr Bobson is disengenious. She promised to file the claims with the insurance co. & didn't. I am still trying to collect the monies. She was paid in full. Aside from the fact that there has been no change in my condisiton from her ministrations.
