Dr Fernandes works best with Spanish language people. My preference was to avoid Dr Ferrandes and work with anyone available. Fernandes is a controller that has difficulty talking to me. He sat at his computer while I waited. I was a long term patient, When he told me to not change my pump, I knew it best to find a different MD. The reason I used him was his office is not far from my house. When he changed my pump without telling me and made new settings not as good as mine, I decided it was time to change to a better MD that worked with me.

Doctor is very cocky and kind of rude. After paying upfront $100 I was sitting waiting for him, he gets in and ignored me completely and checks in on the computer screen, around 1 long awkward minute went by and I finally said; “hello...doctor?”...he totally plastic fake smiled and he said his name but he was kind of talking down on me and with a tone of pedantic superiority asked me ask a question about the ultrasound I already did at another location, and my pcp was ok with it...then he asked; “the one that did your ultrasound was just a technician right?...well, I’m a doctor and and we have better equipment to do another ultrasound here”... this doctor is all about the money! he doesn’t care about the pacients! he just wants the money and looks for any little opportunity to generated it. Waste of my time!...so I just left and unfortunately now I’m out of $100 I paid for around 5 mins. worthless consultation! where the only thing we discuss it was to do an unnecessary ultrasound.

Absolute worst doctor I've ever seen.. ODD is an understatement that's for sure .. he definitely doesn't listen .. and he cuts you off to ramble out comments that are very vague and almost appear to be used to try to switch topic (like if he can't give a educated answer he just tries to bail) .. won't discuss or review any of your critical medical history at all.. he cuts you off before you even get to give him your incredibly important current issues your seeing him for ..he talks over you and rambles "that was then, this is now.. I'm the best just trust me" (even tho he has said & says nothing of clinical intelligence or value and does have your information yet) he is bazaarly flusteted & always rushed? He can't remember any of your critical health details even within the same single conversation .. it is scary that anyone in any kind of compromised health situation is ever given this man to advise them- praying to find a more capable Endo quickly -

Have been coming to him for 2 years now. Very thorough and took time to answer all my questions. Did retesting and found out I was miss diagnosed. Had been taking the wrong meds for 17 years.

Worst doctor I have ever been to. Was nothing but rude to me and didn't care to listen to any of my concerns. The staff is equally rude and treat you like garbage. Do yourself a favor and go see another doctor!

This practice is a joke! Stay away! I waited over an hour on more than one occasion and accomplished nothing with this "doctor". The office is disorganized, the doctor has no idea who you are despite having you chart right in front of him, and he doesn't appear to have any medical knowledge regarding the thyroid. As a nurse, I have never encountered a worse doctor in my life and that's saying something! He should be embarrassed to be running an office this way!!!

I have been a patient over 2years and have found Dr Fernandez to be one of the best doctors that I have ever known. He is extremely thorough and takes a lot of time with his patients. You never feel "rushed" ? I would recommend him very highly and I trust him completely. He is an excellent doctor in my opinion.
