Biography

Dr. Chris Frederick first fell in love with Boulder in 1994 when he attended the University of Colorado where he studied Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Upon graduating in 1998 Dr. Frederick spent several years in various occupations ranging from stock brokerage to raft guiding and eventually was introduced to the field of dentistry as a dental assistant. It didn't take long to realize that a career in dentistry provided the perfect fit of artistry, science, and service that he had been looking for. Dr. Frederick attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia and after graduating in 2008 moved back to Boulder to begin practicing dentistry. Dr. Frederick is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Colorado Prosthodontic Study Club. In the summer of 2015, Dr. Frederick had the opportunity to acquire the practice of Dr. Steven Buffer who had been practicing in Boulder for over 30 years. Dr. Frederick is honored to continue Dr. Buffer's legacy of excellent care and is excited to update the practice with new digital technology. Though passionate about the field of dentistry, Dr. Frederick maintains balance in life by taking advantage of all Colorado has to offer. He is an avid snowboarder, whitewater kayaker, mountain biker, amateur shutterbug, and lover of music.
