Dr Shah is excellent and very articulate. He does not seem arrogant in the least bit. In fact, he introduces himself by his first name and asks what he can help you with. At the recommendation of two doctors on staff and multiple OR and ortho nurses at LGH, I found him. I always ask, " who would you see?"...
4 separate healthcare providers recommended him. He is published and involved in research in orthopedics. He does have a very busy practice so you might have to wait, but please know he is giving others his full attention and expertise. My surgery was very minor (meniscus tear) but he had multiple total replacements right before me (outpatient I might add) and was extremely sharp for my case. Staff is excellent and his bedside manner is as well.

Dr Shah is compassionate and competent. I was totally impressed from start to finish with him and his staff. Elizabeth and Reika are wonderful. If you need Orthopedic care, get an opinion from him without a doubt. You won't find a more personable or competent surgeon.

Dr. Ritesh Shah is very competent and confident and spent the time to review his recommendations (great bedside manner). He follows specific surgical and patient protocols that he has researched and implemented to ensure the best possible outcomes. He has a well trained staff (PA, Nurse, PT and Anesthesiologist) that are personable and highly competent in their own right. Thanks to Dr. Shah and staff for a great outcome. If you are considering seeing an orthopedic surgeon, here is one you should not overlook.

Can't say enough great things about Dr. Shah and his staff. Dr. Shah is patient, professional, and personable. I knew at my initial appointment that I had been referred to the right Dr. Thank you Dr. Kara Vormittag. I must mention the incredible staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Everyone was so amazing. Just a really good experience all the way around.

He is an amazing doctor in all aspects. I have never met such a caring, thoughtful, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor. In addition, his staff is just as remarkable and I cannot thank them all enough. Everyone of them is invested in the patient and the successful outcome after surgery. A wonderful and amazing group of people- I cannot recommend them all enough!!

Have not met such a caring Doctor in a long time. He is professional and takes the time to explain all aspects of your surgery. His PA's Jason and Elizabeth are also cut from the same cloth. At rehab the praise he got from the physical therapists made me absolutely sure that I had chosen the best doctor and my recovery time has proved it. Cannot recommend Dr. Shah enough!!

Dr. Shah and his staff as well as his PA's Elizabeth and Justin (?) were fantastic. Elizabeth went well beyond by delivering to me in the hospital two very much needed devices to assist in my immediate recovery! Dr. Shah is compassionate and he listens to you. His time is precious but he takes the time to explain everything about your procedure to your rehab facility. I'm so very glad I picked Dr. Shah to do my knee replacement. I highly recommend Dr. Shah and his staff!

This doctor is an artist, the aftermath of surgery is far less difficult than I was prepared for. He and his staff are sharp, personable, and truly focused on the needs of the patient, I will rely on him for any future needs.

Dr. Shah and staff I can not begin to say enough good about. Absolutely fantastic experience. He and his staff take the time necessary with you to answer all of your questions. During a procedure he explains everything very clearly as he goes. Before and after surgery he is attentive and makes you feel comfortable. I will recommend him to anyone who has hip issues. An excellent surgeon.
