I saw Dr. Umayam for a chronic respiratory issue that I had been treated by a pulmonary specialist for in the past. She seemed to be in a constant hurry and would not take the time to listen to anything I had to say and seemed to be bothered by the fact that I had questions for her. She seemed to have the attitude as though it wasn't serious enough for her to deal with and just brushed me aside and refused to do the follow up testing that was suggested by my pulmonologist. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Umayam for about two years now. She is non-nonsense, clinical and thorough - exactly what is needed when coming in with an issue. Dr. Umayam is professional, caring and is sincere in her effort to resolve any issue that comes before her. The office is clean, efficient -- the staff is friendly - all of them - including the lab. I would highly recommend this practice and specifically Dr. Umayam.

I was looking for family physician for some time now that was attentive, good at what they do, and came highly recommended. After trying several physicians in the area, I ran across Dr. Umayam and decided to visit the office based on some of the reviews on the web. My appointment was scheduled within 10 days of requesting. The check-in process was quick, very friendly staff and clean facilities.

Dr. Umayam herself is very personable and friendly. She was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I came to her with a list of concerns, one in particular was pain that I was experiencing in my breast. She took prompt action and referred me to a facility that would examine this issue further, thankfully all was well. What I liked most was that she called me personally to go over my labs and explain everything personally. All of my labs were normal however it was nice that she took the time to call me to let me know. This is very rare to me considering that I've only dealt with nurse's or physician's assistant's when visiting previous doctor's offices.

I highly recommend Dr. Umayam and her practice to any potential patients. I am extremely satisfied and will continue to see her for as long as I am in this area.

I have been a patient with a chronic disease for approximately two years. During this period, Dr Umayam has taken a sincere interest in my my wellness. She has displayed a keen interest in my health when she evaluated each medication and then made appropriate modifications to those scripts. She has always spent the amount of time necessary to properly address a given situation. I have learned more from Dr Umayam about my chronic disease than my former physician of ten years. I trust and value Dr Umayam, her guidance, and her dedicated professionalism! My chronic disease is under control now!!

The staff was fine, nurse was excellent, but the doctor was rude. I had my annual wellness exam and told her that i have a pain in the back. Last year another physician checked my back and said everything was fine. I asked her to check my back or better give me a referral. She didn't address it at all. Then she sent me to do blood work and I thought she would give me a referral since she didn't take a look at my back. When I was done, I asked the nurse about the referral and she said she'd check with the doctor. After 10 minutes of waiting the nurse came back and said the doctor said to schedule another appointment to check my back. I felt so disrespectful. It all sounded like they just wanted to make me come back to charge insurance for another visit. In addition during the appointment she asked me several times if I wanted to have my blood tested for HIV, I had to basically insist on pap-smear exam... I definitely felt uncomfortable with the doctor and would like to change it now.
