If I could leave zero or negative stars, I would. Literally go see ANYONE else for an endocrine visit. During my appointment with him, Dr. Dennis was so incredibly rude, condescending, and overall just so unprofessional. He made me feel so stupid during my appointment, like he didn’t have time to meet with me and I had no reason to be in his office. I mean who would make an appointment that is one hour away just for fun??? Not only this but he implied that my primary care provider had mislead me/ is wrong about my diagnosis that we have been working on for 3+ years. Safe to say that I will never return to see Dr. Dennis. I promise you’re better off waiting for months to see another endocrinologist than seeing Dr. Dennis immediately. (No wonder Dr. Dennis has so much availability, any good endocrine specialist is booked for MONTHS in advance) ... hope this helps!:)

Long waits, very arrogant, I was told at first visit he would not treat my diabetes, rude, does not listen, treated me like I was stupid, did only two things-lab and ultrasounds, treated me like a piece of meat on a hook pushing me along the line at a good rate!!! I would not take a dead dog to him!

He is awful! He doesn't listen to your concerns and doesn't look at the overall picture! He had me on way too much Insulin and caused my blood sugar to constantly run high! Discharged me instead because he is incompotent! Should sue for malpractice

He did not want to hear nothing any Dr had said about my health and did not act concerned. I provided latest blood work and he had nerve to disregard what was on the lab results and my systems. Was very quick to move on to next patient without listening to my concern. What a waste of time going to him. I will be going to someone else.

I had an awful experience. Not correctly diagnosed, and he sounds like he was just giving me textbook answers. I feel that if you don't have an idea of what is going on with the patient contact one of the other Physicians in the clinic for help. I have a half swollen thyroid and he doesn't know what is causing it and said to see me back in 6 months. He is very friendly.

He must has more experience dealing with Type II Diabetics, because his lack of compassion and listening skills while dealing with a young Type I Diabetic leaves a lot to be desired. He was not a good listener and sounded like he was quoting from a text book rather than real life experience. There is so much more to carb counting and bolusing. Each time my pre-teen boluses we consider the carb count, glycemic index of foods, previous exercise, future exercise, hormones that may or may not be raging on that particular day (or days), and data received from a CGM. I'm sure he felt like the smartest person in the room, but I'm sure he'll soon realize that he's the only person in the room.

He listens to you and tries to encourage instead of tearing you apart. I am new on insulin and he and his nurse spent all the time I needed to make me feel comfortable with new meds. I really look forward to my "visits" with him. I know he will work with me to keep my diabetes under control.

Dr Dennis is super nice, friendly, concerned and has a very pleasant personality. He is concerned for your well being, is proactive in your treatment but most of all he tries to get you OFF medications not continue to add more and more and more. At this practice, they have everything under one roof, lab, nutrition, etc. I would certainly recommend Dr Dennis to anyone struggling with their diabetes management.
