I have been seeing this doctor for almost 5 years,
She doesn’t listen or care when they tell her that the medication she prescribed, is causing worse side effects, physical pain, withdrawals or weight gain. Because of her refusing to listen to any of my concerns I had to spent 3 month going through medical withdrawals where I was constantly in pain, vomiting, nauseous, restless, and unable to sleep.

she prescribed me medication that made me gain over 50 pounds, and when I told her that it was bothering me. She kept saying, you just need to diet and exercise more. The only way I was able to lose weight was by fasting every other day, and going on a keto diet, and exercising daily , after I failed my diet since it was not sustainable long term, she saw my weight loss and gain as an eating disorder, which she never bothered to treat.

After I got help from a dietitian for 8 month, and the dietitian recommended a bariatric surgery to mange my weight, in order to get that surgery I needed psychiatric release, so when I asked Dr. khatoon for it she refused to give me a psychiatric evaluation and psychiatric release to go ahead with the surgery even though she said she would if I was able to maintain my weight during those 8 month. She said that she wants to wait even longer before she can decide which was not even agreed upon from the beginning.

When I asked to do genetic testing to figure out which medication is more beneficial, since I’ve been testing out different treatments that have all failed for over 8 years, she refused, saying its “not something that she does” she would rather test every possible medication on you and make you go through hell, than do a simple genetic testing that insurance covers either because she is A) a sadistic f-ck. B) doesn’t care about her patients wellbeing. C) she just wants to milk them for more appointments for the rest of their lives and helping her patients get better is not within her financial interests. Or D) all of the above
