She came in with a preconceived idea of what was wrong with me before I had an opportunity to explain. Awful bedside manner.

I don't know how she can still be in practice. I was sent to her for verification by my foot dr. She was VERY unprofessional in the way she addressed my test saying over and over how she didn't believe what I had was a real thing and how she can't believe foot dr's send people for this test for something she felt wasn't a real thing. The other girls in the office were wonderful but this dr needs to quit practicing.

She did a great job. She took time the time to listen and examine thoroughly examine. She explained why she leaves things like fibromyalgia up to other doctors with training in that area of medicine.

Dr. Buchanan didn't take the time to do a history whatsoever and then told me that she thought I had apparently been misdiagnosed because she didn't believe in what I have. Additionally, she focused on not having medicine to give or the need for surgery - even though I made it clear multiple times that I wasn't seeing her for either medicine or surgery. She was not helpful at all and instead makes me afraid that if a Neurologist can be so ignorant about certain chronic illnesses, we really don't have any hope for those of us who suffer from pain 24/7.
