Dr. Keplinger operated on my right foot. She was going to remove a small bunion among other things. The other issues that were involved she did take care of but the small bunion she removed turned into a huge bunion after she was finished. The doctor's explanation for the deformity was that I had chosen the wrong procedure for her to do. She said that two of the major bones should have been fused but were not by my choice. She stated she could do a revision but why would I let somebody who screwed my foot up so badly operate on me again. No way. I understand that things happen and mistakes can be made but for a doctor to place the blame on the patient is incredible. My foot is so deformed that I cannot wear a shoe and need another surgery to correct it. Be careful if you plan to use this doctor, be very very careful.
