Dr. John Steichen made me feel very comfortable and at ease from the moment i sat down and we went over mri results. He explained to me why and what was going to take place. His assistant and office staff members were equally as nice and ready to answer any questions i had. He has performed two spinal surgery on myself. I highly recommend him for anyone needing any of his services.

Although Dr. Steichen was extremely knowledgable, he did not seem to have the time or even the care a neurosurgeon should possess. Highly disappointed with my experience overall.

I saw Dr. Steichen several times after hurting my neck. He worked with me to try give a number of different treatments a chance to work before we decided to press on with surgery. Everything went well and he did an impressive job of following up with me after my operation.

While he might have done charity work in Germany, he could do better for his patients in the States. He have weak listening skills and an apparent god complex.

He might be brilliant, but he was very rude and dismissive. There wasn't even anyone else in the waiting room (it was early AM) and he was rushed with me and acted like he didn't have time for me. I had a few questions to ask him about my spinal injury but after he responded very sarcastically and rudely, I gave up and searched for answers to my questions on the internet and with another doctor.
