Dr Chism Is thorough and doesn't immediately dismiss an issue but will attempt different tests and medications to get to the root of the problem. She is all for a patient being their own advocate, as you should be. She also takes the time to listen and offer as much education on the subject as you'd like.

Dumped on the ER after dispute over scheduling. Went in with chest pain that happened over the weekend. Given appointment for stress test for two weeks from then! Sent to ER after requesting sooner appointment. Poor care. Should have just scheduled me sooner.

Told dr China I was having heart palpitation and severe headaches from my new allergy medicine. She told me I was having panic attacks and tried to force depression medicine on me. I told her within an hour of taking medicine my heart would begin to race. She still insists on panic attacks. I told her I don't want depression medicine, I want a different allergy medicine because my headaches are preventing me from living a normal life. She tells me I need to just deal with it. Refuses to give test results by phone or letter. Makes you come in for another visit to get results of "everything is normal." Condescending and rude. Much better physicians out there.

Dr. Chism is an excellent doctor. So smart and caring. Remembers your children and asks about them. Seems genuinely concerned for her patients well being. Her heart is in her work and it shows.

Awesome doctor. I've been a patient for a long time now, and I wouldn't see anyone else. Very thorough when explaining things, office staff is very good too! I got to speak to an actual person when I called and not a recording!

Stay away from this doctor. Very unknowledgeable in the medical field. Misdiagnoses of a neck injury. Male patient Misdiagnoses of spider bite. Wanted to operate on hand. Teenager Refusal to see patient because patient had not been sick for over a year and hadn't been to doctor. At least thats the excuse they used when patient told office they had been in a car wreck and was having extreme back pain. The above is in reference to three patients from the same family.
