I have had bad breath for many years, I believe even in elementary school. People would move away, or not talk to me. In elementary school, I wondered why my ‘friends’ didn’t play with me during lunch time. The seclusion continued throughout high school. Other kids would tease and laught at me. I have never had many friends because of my bad breath. It is a lonely world because I had kept to myself for so long after being turned away by people. Even my family would make hurtful comments to me. As an adult, my professional development has been negatively affected because of my bad breath. I have tried many different brands of toothpastes, mouthwashes, gums, mints, anything that I thought would help with my breath, I tried it. I started scouring the internet for anything and everything. I found a dentist in California, but I did not find relief with his system. I then found Dr. Miller, and decided to travel to see him. The first time I saw him included the consultation and the same things that other reviews have mentioned. The smell test, the halimeterand oral chromatograph, pictures, and more. This first time with Dr. Miller was expensive, around 10k. But the treatment happened every day for ten days. My mouth was cleaned and my tongue was scraped with an ultrasonic device. My mouth never felt cleaner or better. I was able to afford the treatment by using care credit credit card. That was in 2014. I still visit Dr. Miller annuallybecause they provide a professional level of mouth and tongue cleaning. I adhere as best as I can to the daily cleaning regimen. Though the home routine that Dr. Millers team goes over with you is awesome, my mouth does get dirty because I have dry mouth issues too. My subsequent visits have usually consisted of two days of tongue scraping with a deep cleaning by the hygienist. This costs me about $600-700 for that visit, not including air fare and hotel stay. But the trip each year is so worth it for me. If only there was a cure for dry mouth! I am not an employee nor have I been paid to write this review. Dr. Miller and his staff have always been kind and professional. I was in his office a few days ago, June 2019. The services and treatment this office provides is the most effective treatment to handle halitosis that I have found to date. I still search the internet for new products and services, but Dr. Miller’s method is effective.

I highly recommend Dr. Miller for treatment of halitosis. I have had a breath problem since my early 20’s (over 40 years ago)! I’ve endured very embarrassing moments at work and outside work. Sometimes I would hear people in earshot complain about my breath or I would see people I talk to wince or back up. Many times people would offer mints or gum. I really felt handicapped. To compensate I would use strong mouthwash constantly. In the early days I would use alcohol based mouthwashes such as Lavoris, Listerine or Scope. However, when it came out that these products used in excess may cause oral cancer, I searched for other products.
I was relieved to find non-alcohol based products such as Profresh, Therabreath and Smartmouth. Although these were an improvement, they only gave me temporary relief for several hours. If I ate anything, the same bad taste would quickly return. I was therefore resigned to carry travel size mouthwashes in my brief case and or pocket and use them every 2 or 3 hours. Now and then I would scour the internet for any new “miracle” products that could offer more prolonged relief from my bad breath.
Five months ago I came upon Dr. Miller’s website. He not only promised to alleviate bad breath but to cure it. I was intrigued and ordered his book. I learned that most bad breath originates from bacteria formed by biofilm on the tongue. This entrenched biofilm needs to be removed professionally. Although Mr. Miller’s office located in Virginia is 3.5 hours from my home, I made an appointment for an initial consultation. The office staff couldn’t have been nicer. Dr. Miller ran some tests (including taking a culture from the tongue) and assessed the severity of my problem and then presented a treatment plan. The plan included 8 to 12 sessions of tongue cleaning including time with the hygienist. He also prescribed antibiotics as a result of the culture’s findings.
After completing my regimen, test results indicated my problem breath was no longer noticeable. I’m still in shock! It should be noted that this treatment is very expensive but in my opinion worth it. It also involves dietary restrictions such as eliminating dairy products and requires that you follow a strict protocol of oral cleaning each morning and evening. After nearly 5 months, it has become routine. Shortly after my treatment I went on a trip requiring an 8 hour plane ride. I felt liberated enough from my prior handicap to carry on a lively conversation with the stranger sitting next to me without any adverse reactions. I went for a three month follow up checkup and I still had no noticeable bad breath. Many thanks to you, Dr. Miller, and to your kind staff! I only wish your services were available 40 years ago!

THANK YOU Dr. Miller. I can’t believe I ‘m writing to you so soon!! Over 20 years of having bad breath I thought this was my last try for a cure. I’ve done Therabreath, pro fresh, herbs, peroxide and baking soda. All types of mouthwashes . . .you name it, I’ve tried it! Even charcoal. Essential oils, coconut oil pulling, I went to ENT, had camera in my stomach to see if maybe I had cancer. Long story short. . . I found you on Facebook. Saved the info and finally decided enough is enough. I flew in Monday November 12 and was seen by Dr. Miller. I instantly felt comfortable! His assistant made me laugh and feel at ease. I got checked out . . . followed up next day. (I have to admit I was not so happy since I was instructed not to use toothpaste or mouthwash, no gum or mints, but I understand it is for accurate readings). I got 3 treatments of tongue rejuvenation. Got my mouth cleaned better than any other hygienist. I flew home that Thursday afternoon. Husband came to pick me up with 2 other people who for one this young boy would ALWAYS COVER HIS NOSE! He didn’t this time and I was sitting next to him in the car!! I went to see my business partner who always does the same thing. I was sooo confident that I sat up close to him. Me!! What people don’t know is it was so bad one time I went to the grocery store and bought some things. The cashier literally picked up a toothpaste and said here, For free! I have to give God the praise and glory!! I prayed, I seeked. I was reading Matthew 8.3. And God healed me!! I am so grateful and excited to finally live my life to the fullest. Thanks to Dr. Miller.

I went to see Dr. Miller this past week for a checkup after 6 years of being cured. Still NO ODOR
When I saw Dr. Miller in 2012, my life was in tatters. I had lost my job and my marriage was falling apart. People were rubbing under their noses and offering me gums and mints. When the VP of marketing pushed his chair back as we were talking, that’s when I knew I needed help with my breath. I found Dr. Miller along with a lot of people making claims about their mouthwash, how they cured people, etc. But there was just something about what he wrote that told me his was the real deal. I am so glad I went. Being from out of town, I had everything done in 4 days. By day 2, my mouth felt fresher than it had ever been. By day 3, the new people I met were no longer rubbing under their noses or turning away. At the end of the treatment, Dr. Miller re-did all the original tests and everything showed negative. I was ecstatic and cured.
I went home with more confidence than I ever imagined. While my marriage ended in divorce, I was no longer depressed about the future. I found my husband in 2014 and I am now pregnant with our first child. And within 3 months of going home, I landed an executive job where I’ve been ever since. One last thing. Yes, the cure that Dr. Miller does is expensive. But this is one time when you get what you pay for - cured. He was with me for over 8 hours of his time and another 8 of his hygienist’s time because his treatment is hands-on (but painless).
So, if mouthwashes, tongue scraping and the like don’t work anymore, like mine, this is the place to go. Make the investment in yourself. Because once you do, you will never worry about being embarrassed about your breath again. And about that check-up. Still no odor after 6 years and counting! So, to Dr. Miller, I say this. You gave me my life back and I will be eternally grateful. Keep doing what you are doing and the people who really need you will find you.

I came here from Mumbai, when I was 15. Fitting in was difficult but it was all made worst because I had a severe case of bad breath. Every girl I got the courage to approach would have nothing to do with me. People would sit next to me and quickly got up and moved.
In early 2015, I lived in Ohio, a 4.5 hour drive to Dr Miller’s office. I researched him and his clinic and his guarantee about finally being free of bad breath. I hoped that my LIVING NIGHTMARE would finally come to an end.
Dr. Miller told me in the beginning, that about 3% of the people he sees have a more complex form of halitosis and that if that was me, I may need to return extra to eliminate the problem for good. Turns out I was in that 3%.
In some people, you can have parasites, yeast, bacteria that come from other parts of the body like your colon, and even small animals living in your mouth. Dr. Miller showed me them on the microscope. Until they are all gone, you cannot be cured.
Well, it took Dr. Miller 9 months, and me 4 more trips to get rid of these bugs. Every time we knocked out one bacteria, another popped up.
Dr. Miller did not give up on me and he would not let me give up either. Sure, it was a hassle to go back to his office, but it was worth it. My breath had been so bad that even I could smell it. No more. And since July, 2015, I have had no problem at all. My last checkup (I go once a year for 1 hour), showed no odor had returned.
The guarantee that Dr. Miller made to me – to cure me – he kept his promise. That guarantee is not smoke and mirrors. It is real. I am sure he lost money with me, with all the extra visits, but I will always be grateful. He not only kept his promise to cure me, he never once acted like I was a burden or a problem I am bad breath free now for 3 years and counting.

Simply put, Dr. Miller and his team cured me. I was at the lowest point in my life 4 years ago when I saw him.
I’ll never forget the first time someone near me said, “did someone f_rt in here?”. I was crushed and I never got over that. Dr. Miller was kind, thoughtful, and understanding. So, I told him all about my problem – that I had trouble making friends; and that I thought I would never get married. He listened. And then he told me that it was his life’s work to cure as many people as possible and he would cure me. I broke down in tears.
The treatment was painless as promised. It all came together on the 3rd day. When I went to the mall every person who helped me did so without a trace of my breath problem. After 3 days, I was cured!
Thanks Dr. Miller

THANK YOU, Dr. Miller.
You freed me from bad breath! Let me explain. My problem began in high school when “friends” in my 11th grade class started to avoid me. When I got to college the girls I roomed with were just plain nasty. The school counselor told me it was all in my head. I stopped dating because I was afraid to be intimate and have my dragon breath get discovered. My first boss told me she could not recommend me for a better position due to my breath. By that time, I had had an upper GI test, lower GI, and had my sinuses cleaned out with a laser. Even at the dental school they just cleaned my teeth. Finally, I had enough. That was when I ordered Dr. Miller’s book. I went to see Dr. Miller the next week from Phoenix. He was kind and reassuring. I knew I was cured on Day 3 when I walked to the hotel desk and talked to the guy up close. No Reaction!! I broke down and cried I was so happy. When I was finished, Dr. Miller ran all the tests and showed me the results. I even had all “0”s for the Oral Cromo. I was cured. That was 2 years ago. I continue to follow the regimen Dr. Miller personally taught me and just so you know, I just got engaged. I could not have done any of this without Dr. Miller. To everyone who thought they had no hope, this is the real deal. I know because it wasn’t that long ago that I wanted to give up on life.

Here are some things to watch out for.
Notice that in emails they will use the words 'the cure' and put it in quotes. Also they ask you to read his book because he refers to his process as 'the cure'. So in my opinion it's a play on words when they ask you 'Do you want the cure' they are asking if you want to go through his process not an actual guarantee of curing or eliminating your bad breath.
If he asks you to sign any paperwork make sure he does not attempt to put his hands over any portion of the paperwork. Also I would not sign any paperwork while at the office ask him to email it to you first so you can review. Or take the paperwork home so you can review it completely before signing. Don't get worried if he suddenly claims he can't help you have the right to review all the documents that he asks you to sign.
There might be someone sitting in the waiting area where the receptionist is at the end of your consultation or one of your sessions where he will say to someone I think we can cure your bad breath or your wife's bad breath. Or the person will say 'Thanks for helping me (or whoever) with my bad breath. I think it's just a tactic to get you to sign up for his 'cure'.

If you go for the consultation it is several hundred dollars for what was for me x-rays, pictures of my tongue, halimeter test, and then a 'nose test' where he smells your breath. Make sure to ask that pictures of your tongue get emailed to you. See if he ever sends them to you or if he or his staff promise to send pics but only after you sign up for a comprehensive treatment package. In my case I never received a copy of the pics of my tongue.

I went to Dr. Miller for his 'cure' for bad breath. I can tell you that it does not work. When you go in for your first visit (consultation) they will take x-rays and pictures of your tongue. He will keep apologizing that the pictures of your tongue are taking a little longer to process that is because they are manipulating pictures of your tongue to make it worse than it actually is. Then you will take the halimeter test in my experience he quickly shut off the halimeter and wrote down a number and his assistant walked away with the paperwork of my score. I don't know if he ever actually recorded the right score or if he wrote an elevated score. Then he will do his smell test in which he will jump back and say it's pungent. If you go for the consultation make sure to ask for photos of your x-rays and tongue to be sent to you via email. See if he ever sends you the pictures of your tongue. He may indicate that he will use a laser to clean your tongue but it's not what they used on me instead it was just a tool they used to scrape your tongue. After all the appointments for the tongue scraping (cost of 4k) he will use the halimeter and in my experience he kept trying to get me to not look at the halimeter. So he is just trying to put a lower score. Then he will use his nose and say that the odor is basically minimized and your cured. I believe in the paperwork he asks you to sign states that his nose is basically the factor to determine if your bad breath has been cured.
I would recommend not going for either the treatment or consultation because I believe it is just a waste of money.

Bad breath began in my 20’s when I was working as a receptionist for a major company in St. Louis. I lost that job when 3 people complained to HR about my breath. I tried everything - I ordered every book, every e-book, every mouthwash, toothpaste and home remedy to eliminate my problem. Some of them worked a short time but mostly they were a waste of money.
I searched all over the internet and found a dentist in Berkeley, CA who claimed he cured bad breath. I went to see him. What a joke.
Finally, 5 years ago, I came across an article about this dentist in Virginia who was curing bad breath. In fact, he offered a money-back guarantee. I was skeptical but desperate.
My first appointment was a diagnosis. Dr. Miller spent almost 3 hours with me explaining everything and coming up with a treatment plan that would cure my problem. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it in the end.
The thing I am most grateful for is that Dr. Miller never gave up on me, nor did his staff. His experience with treating so many people and his kind and caring attitude made me feel like I was his only patient. He was always encouraging and promised me he would get to the bottom of my problem, and he did! So, if you have tried everything like I did, please give Dr. Miller and his group a chance. With his guarantee, you really have nothing to lose and if I am any example of the desperate people he sees, he will not give up until he has found your problem and cures it.
