Wondering if this Dr. Stapenhorst is the same one I went too at SonoBello at 5420 west loop South. My review of this doctor is less than tasteful. He’s curt & rude. While he was performing my procedure on my waist, he kind of tickled so I started scrumming a bit, and asked what’s wrong? I told him it tickles a little. Then he started shoving the instrument into my side and asking does it tickle now? I was mortified and praying that he doesn’t botch my procedure…SMDH!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR. FIND ANYONE ELSE. MY BREASTS LOOK AWFUL. HE DID A "REVISION" IN HIS OFFICE AND I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A HORROR MOVIE. HE DIDN'T FOLLOW UP. FROM THE SECOND I PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN AND BOOKED THE APPOINTMENT, HE WAS RUDE AND UNHELPFUL. I WENT TO THREE DOCTORS AND HE WASN'T THE CHEAPEST BUT HE WAS KIND AT FIRST. THAT ALL CHANGED. MY BREASTS ARE UNEVEN, HAVE THE WORST SCARS. CLEAVAGE IS BUMPY AND UNEVEN. THERE IS A "POINT" COMING OFF MY RIGHT SIDE. HE NEVER TOOK AFTER PICTURES AND HAD 2 REVISIONS IN HIS OFFICE THAT MADE ME QUEASY. HE BLAMED THE POINT FROM HIS STITCHES THAT STUCK OUT ON MY "FAT" THAT HE HAD TO TAKE OUT AFTER THE SECOND REVISION. THE DAY OF THE SURGERY HE WAS COLD AND NON VERBAL. CAME IN THE ROOM AND STARTED DRAWING ON MY BREAST WITH A SHARPIE. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. This dr is all about cash payment. His staff called and informed me that my procedures were denied by my insurance and if I still want to have it done this will be the amount! I called my insurance and I was told that they don't see any request from his office. I went to another doctor, he did what he told me that my procedures are medically necessary and requested with my procedures. The surgery was approved and I just had my surgery. I would have been fine if dr stapenhorst told me that he doesn't want to deal with insurance, but to tell me that he would be writing his medical necessity letter and will be requesting approval for my procedures and didn't do it was very unethical!!!!
